Learn How Going Micro-Niche Makes More Money for Your Business
It’s possible to be too micro-niche, and also to have one that is too broad. It’s prudent to find the happy medium for that perfect micro-niche to be able to make an impact and grow!
What is a niche, and what is the difference between a niche and a micro-niche?
A niche is a market or segment of people or a specific set of products. A micro-niche is a subcategory inside of a broader niche. You can’t build a brand based on niche alone, you need to go deeper into a micro-niche.
You may be thinking that you will have more visits with a broader niche. While you have a broader net, you are fighting against others that have already claimed the big category of that niche. If you segment down into a micro-niche, you will be two more levels deep into a micro-niche. This gives you the opportunity to be the one to claim that category instead of fighting with others.
Look at your tactical specific outcome, or TSO, statement to validate if your niche is the correct one. This statement is like an explanation of your micro-niche. Go three levels deep into your niche and then you will be a big fish in a small, but not too small, pond. That way your listeners will know you are FOR them.
If you need help working through your TSO statement and getting clear on your niche, my course Clarify your Calling will dive deep into all of this and much, much more.
What are the benefits of having a micro-niche that is two to four levels deep?
You provide much more value to your listeners, clients, and students because you know exactly what they are dealing with.
You become profitable faster because you are able to position the marketing and messaging to where your listener finds precisely what they need.
It makes it so much easier to sell and it makes more money.
You can boost engagement faster because you build a community of people who are like-minded and similar.
Listeners share a lot faster because they know people in the same situation and because you helped them, they want to share what you can offer.
There is so much more fulfillment when you base a business on saying yes to what God has called you to do instead of choosing a niche because it is more profitable. It’s about taking action to make it an actual strategic business plan based on what God has called you to do.

If your niche is listed, then make sure you are two or three levels deep into your micro-niche. If it is not listed, then one or two levels deep will be fine. You want to make sure you are doing research and asking market research questions to narrow down your niche.
By having a micro-niche and focusing on serving your avatar, your online business will grow exponentially. Your niche can be one that makes more money by doing nothing more than speaking to a specific group of listeners and serving them well. I pray that as you follow God’s calling on your life and service, you see an amazing ripple effect in those around you and with those your business comes in contact.
I pray this blesses you!
