One of the most important parts of attracting new business to your podcast is having an extraordinarily tactical tagline! Your tagline needs to be clear about what you do, and who you are doing it for. Your podcast tagline has to be sticky, punchy, and something your person won’t forget easily. If you are ready to attract new business to your podcast then keep reading and let’s take some notes.
Stand Out and Attract New Business With a Clear Podcast Tagline
What Is Your Person Wanting or Needing Most?
When figuring out your podcast tagline, consider what your person is wanting or needing from you. What do you offer them that is different from everyone else? How are you going to be able to help them solve their problem? You need to tell your person exactly what they can expect from you in just 10 words or less.
Something that will help save you some space in your tagline is making sure you don’t necessarily use the same words that are already in your podcast title. For example, if the title of your podcast was “Busy Mom, Healthy Life,” your tagline could look something like, “Everyday Habits For The Mom Who Balances It All.” Your number one goal when creating your podcast tagline is to stand out from all the rest, but also be the podcast that everyone needs.
How Your Podcast Titles Will Attract New Business
Think about the content you discuss during the recording of your podcast episode. Whatever message you are trying to convey during that specific time, make sure that is included in your podcast title. You want your title to be relatable. If your audience can’t relate to what you are trying to offer them, they won’t be inclined to listen. Make sure your person cares about the information that is being shared and considers how it can be helpful to them. This is where a CTA can also be very helpful. Give your person something to consider and act on after they are done listening to your episode.
Things to consider during each podcast:
Story- what happened to you and how did you respond?
Lesson- what do you have to offer your person from your experience?
Conclusion- what can your person do to attain results or a solution?
These three things will help guide you to your podcast titles that will reach out to your targeted audience and bring in new business.
