The most important things to do to reach 1 million downloads
- Start scared. Chelsi was not convinced systems were her calling even after going through Clarify You Calling but she went for it anyways.
- Invest in yourself at a high level to get where you want to go faster. Take the time to go through the Stefanie Gas School and follow her formula.
- Don’t bootstrap your success, it will only lead to burn-out.
- You will feel like quitting, there will probably be tears, and you will have to work through a lot of fears but don’t give up.
- Stay focused on the vision. Even if it doesn’t seem to be working. Know your dreams are possible but they won’t happen if you quit.
- Be thankful for just 5 more downloads as you are growing.
How to start seeing success on your podcast
- Learn the SEO tricks.
- Always be surrounded by people who are doing the things you want to do. It will show you it’s possible.
- Give your podcast audience what they want. Get rid of all the things you want to talk about but your audience could care less about.
- Join a paid mastermind such as Podcast to Profit.
- Be in a growth mindset. Set the bar to where you want to grow and go there before you’ve actually grown into that spot.
- Let yourself be a humble learner and go where God is trying to take you. There are so many incredible people out there and let God use them in your life. Learn from this client testimonial and other people’s journeys!
Tips for making sales to grow a 1 million downloads podcast
- Chelsi’s highest sales month of 55K was all from podcasting and not spending a penny on ads.
- Care about every single person that comes into your community. Care a lot and people will trust you.
- Show up consistently.
- Stick with that one thing.
- Use Podcast to Profit to learn how to sell (even if you hate sales!).
- Use scripts to plug into your podcasts to help you sell.
- Start now and create something that gets conversions, you will land farther along than where you are now.
- It comes down to how brave and how bold you are going to be. If there is a prompting you are either going to be brave enough to do it or not.
