How to Build a Profitable Business Online in 2 Hours a Week

Do you want to be able to spend more time with your family and less time posting to your feed and stories? Do you want to grow a business with a high return on investment and save time? Are you ready to get clear on your business and stop spending hours on social media but you think it is the only way to grow your business? It’s not.

Build a Money-Making Business and Actually Save Time!

I used to spend 10-15 hours a week on social media and video marketing and my bank account never moved. Also, I was burnt out and felt awkward about the DM messages I was forcing. I was frustrated with my lack of growth. After a business failure, I gave it all up and surrendered it all to God. In 2018 God showed me a new way to help the women I was called to serve. 

He said to use my voice. 

That is the answer. It is time to stop fighting an algorithm that you can’t win. There is another way to have both impact and income. 

I truly know that God has equipped me with this method so I can show it to you. Grab a piece of paper and put a checkbox on each of these that you are doing.

Calculate your return on investment (ROI)

How is this time converting into the return on investment (ROI)? How much money did you make last week? Take your total number of hours spent on these bullet points and divide it by that amount of money. That is your ROI. Say you spent 10 hours working on your posts, reels, and stories and got one coaching client at $100. That is $10 an hour. Is that really what you want to be earning?

• Everything you do on social media is gone in 24 hours. 
• Only 1-6% of your following sees your posts, reels, and stories. 
• It’s not scalable. 
• There are no keywords, no SEO, no longevity, and no evergreen marketing happening.

How do you build a business in 2 hours a week?

• Outline an episode: 30 minutes 
• Record the episode: 30 minutes
• Edit (if you don’t edit as you go): 30 minutes
  • I teach you in Podcast Pro University how to edit as you go which will save time.
• Publish and promote: Less than 30 minutes
  • The host you upload the podcast to will share it automatically. 
  • One episode goes to roughly 12-15 platforms automatically in about 60 seconds. 
  • It shows up on places like Spotify, Apple, Google, and Pandora. 
  • I teach you how to do all of this in my course!
• Social media: less than 5 minutes
  • Post on your Instagram, Facebook feed, and stories that you have a new episode.
  • Although, you can even avoid social media altogether if you want.

If you have done your SEO and your keywords correctly, your episode shows up in the search results of anyone that goes into Google to search for your topic.

This will save time, but how does this make you money?

When you air an episode it can get listened to thousands of times in 30 days (and continues on forever). Wow! 

If I had a thousand followers on FB and 1-5% of people saw it, that is 10 to 50 people vs thousands of people through the podcast. The thousands of people are exponential because it will keep working for you forever. 

I invite you to choose the easier way.

Let go of social media as your main funnel for your business

I believe you are choosing social media because it feels good. There is instant gratification when someone likes something. When you see how many views you get, it feels good. That is a deception because the good feelings only last for a minute. None of that is actually going to build your business. If you don’t build your business and make money, you can’t make an impact for your family or God’s kingdom. 

You have been lied to about the way you think you need to build a business. There is freedom from the bondage of being busy. Freedom from the bondage of social media. If you are having unrest about this, I call that the Holy Spirit alarm. He is trying to convict you that you have to lay it down and pick up something else that is going to be free and light. Scripture promises us that when we walk God’s path, we get to live free and light.
