So, I am excited to bring you five tips to help you build self-confidence as a Christian entrepreneur. Stop holding yourself back so you can make more of an impact in God’s kingdom as He has called you to do!
5 Tips to Build Self-Confidence as an Entrepreneur
1. Use your failures as fuel to build self-confidence
The more we normalize failure, the less it hinders us.
Failing is not an end-point, only quitting is. – Stefanie Gass
2. Practice propels you to build self-confidence over time
One of the things that keeps us feeling self-conscious is that we feel like we just have to show up and go. You don’t have to be able to just go, take time to practice. Practice and work through anything that doesn’t feel clear before you proceed. However, don’t focus on perfection, it doesn’t need to be perfect. But if you practice one or two times, it will give you more confidence because you know the order of things and have a plan.
3. Show up to go up as a Christian entrepreneur
Get out of your comfort zone.
There is zero chance that you will grow your confidence if you don’t push yourself to do something new.
We have got to force ourselves to do things that don’t feel great sometimes to continue to grow.
Once you have done it once, it isn’t so hard anymore.
As a Christian entrepreneur, God wants you to keep pushing forward in the face of adversity.
If you are getting too comfortable, your confidence will wane. You have got to continue to push the bar up in the areas that have become too comfortable.
Being uncomfortable is a confidence driver in the long run. – Stefanie Gass
It won’t feel great the first time you show up, you may feel anxious, and you may not feel your most confident version of yourself. We are constantly going to be refining this new craft. Unless we keep showing up and challenging ourselves, we are not going to keep improving.
4. Dress for success as a Christian Entrepreneur
This means whatever you want it to mean
What does your dress for success look like? It can be comfy pants and a cute t-shirt or you could be someone that likes to dress to the nines. Both are great!
You want to feel your best because the way you feel is going to exude that confidence.
5. Expand your expert status to build self-confidence through education
Expand your knowledge.
You need to keep learning but not in an overconsumption way.
Don’t get stagnant or stuck.
Read a book.
Listen to a podcast.
Take a course.
Exchange wasted time for something that helps you grow your expertise in your niche.
Remember that God is with you and He has equipped you. You are qualified! Confidence is a journey but with these five tips to help you build self-confidence, over time you’ll become a successful Christian entrepreneur that creates impact and income. I know that you have it within you!
I pray this blesses you!

Stef
