Not worldly success, but biblical success. What does it mean to live your life God’s way? What does it mean to grow a business God’s way? And… does God even want us to have success?
These are all questions that I found myself asking, so after digging into this myself, I am sharing what I discovered about success all throughout the Bible.

6 Biblical Success Principles for Women of Faith
1. Receiving the gift of eternal life is our first and most important biblical success principle
John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” God gives us this gift of salvation for free; we don’t have to earn it!
Jesus paid the price for our salvation, and I believe, receiving this gift is an aspect of biblical success. We make the choice to live for something bigger than this world and then follow God’s commandments.
2.Trusting God leads us to receive our new nature
2nd Corinthians 5:17 reads, “As we obey Him, He transforms us, giving us a completely new nature.” When we choose to put our trust and faith in God, Holy Spirit goes to work within us to do the work of transforming us.
As women of faith, we literally become a new version of ourselves! This is a vital success principle because we are becoming more like Christ. And who was more successful than Jesus, Who was given a seat right next to our Father?
3. Shifting our perspective is a success principle that can be applied to every area of life
When we go through pain, the Bible says these trials are used to strengthen us and help grow our perseverance. As women of faith, we can choose to run our lives and businesses with a lens of competing with others, with jealousy, or with hustling and striving.
But, when we shift our perspective to our daily calling work, we gain freedom from the curses of Satan and of this world.
4. As women of faith, God gives us wisdom, knowledge, and understanding
When we operate our businesses with the success principles in God’s word, we have access to all of the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of God through our helper, Holy Spirit.
When we ask God to help us see a specific situation in a biblical way, we gain new insight and guidance. Now, that is a powerful success principle!
5. There is joy in giving, serving, and loving others
God commands us to love Him with all our hearts, but then also to love others as ourselves. Every area of our life is actually a tool God uses to help us grow to be more Christlike. Through our generosity, our service to others, and our love that we freely give, we are transformed by God.
His blessing back to us is that these selfless acts bring us His gift of true joy. This biblical principle teaches us that as we use our lives to love and serve others as He asks, He blesses us back with joy that only He can give.
6. God’s blessing and favor are freely given
When we follow each of these success principles from the Bible, He abundantly provides us with all the resources we need. We often think that by working harder, trying new solutions, people-pleasing, trying to be like someone else, etc. we will receive more financial blessing or more love or more status.
However, by following the steps outlined in God’s word, He gives us all that we need and more. It’s His beautiful design to provide amazing gifts to His children. Receiving favor from God is the ultimate success.
The Bible states that where our heart is, there our treasure will be also. As women of faith, by working to follow these six success principles every day in every aspect of our lives, we will automatically receive the most abundant gifts from our Heavenly Father. As we become more like Jesus, we find true biblical success.
