1. Weave Organic Sales into Your Podcast to Help You Capture More Conversions and Get More Coaching Clients
In addition to marketing your coaching offer in a pre-recorded podcast intro or exit, start organically marketing your offer from the heart. Look for opportunities to weave it into the episode when the pain points are brought up. You can follow the formula: empathetic connection, how your offer helps them with “pain point”, then, end with the solution (or outcome). This is going to help your future coaching client know that your offer is for them. Also, remember that it takes 7-21 times before someone makes the leap to buy. Trust the process and believe in yourself as a coach!
2. Create punchy, avatar-focused messaging so that your coaching client knows you can solve their specific problem
If your messaging is vague, boring, or too broad (aka. I can help anybody!) your message isn’t going to land. If you want a podcast listener to become a client, you have to speak THEIR language. Do some market research to find out what specific things your ideal client is saying and weave it into your podcast pitch. Focus on key phrases they might be googling and the thoughts they are thinking. When you can speak directly to your person, and they feel like you ‘get them,’ the yes will be so much faster. Leave your listener wondering what they actually get at the end of a session and you’ve already lost the sale.
3. Audit your sales process and inventory where you’re losing potential coaching clients
Go through each step of your avatar’s client journey from piquing interest, to getting in touch with you, to landing on a sales page, or checkout page, to booking. Where are you losing leads? You can go through your metrics to discover which step needs optimization and start testing small tweaks. Make one change at a time so that you can see what changes are actually increasing your conversion rate. This takes time but is worth it. No well-oiled sales machine was ever born overnight. Do the work to go slow to grow fast.
4. Bonus Tip: Feature some of your past clients on your podcast so that other listeners can see the value of your coaching to get more coaching clients organically
