Hi Stef. This is Evelyn Glick from Her Styled Life Podcast. My podcast is about really empowering women into becoming their best version and also becoming more spiritual by just connecting more with God. And at the same time, I do love interior design and I so know how to blend and integrate the two topics together. Right now they seem to be very separate from each other. And I don’t know how to incorporate both. And I need some clarity on that. Thank you so much for your help.

Hi, Evelyn. I’m so excited that you brought me this question and I was sitting here and the idea came to me in probably 10 seconds of how you can really integrate interior design and spiritual growth. And I’m excited to tell you, I had this really idea or vision around what is happening when you interior design your home, when you style your home, when you feel so great in your home is you are really like redesigning from the inside out, but at your home.

What happens when we grow inside spiritually, when our hearts are full, when we soften our hearts, when we embody the spirit of God, and when we really begin to live our life out,being the hands and feet of Christ, well, we are redesigned from the inside out. So I really thought of you doing something like, you know, redesign like redesigning, or hers, the styled life is fine.

(04:42):
That’s what you mentioned your show is already called, but it’s this styled life when it comes to home and heart. Because we have home and then we have heart. So it’s maybe like Restyling your Home and Heart or Restyled home and Heart, or even The Home and Heart show. Oh my goodness. Are you feeling this?

(05:01):
Because there’s really two beautiful things that you are gifting this woman I assume, or this person, and that is, I am here to help you redesign your home and redesign your heart. How? Well, number one, we are going to style your home. And number two, we are going to spiritually grow because I believe when we have a heart that is for the Lord and a strengthened heart, we are able to then operate in the physical at a higher capacity, right?

And we are able to then restyle our home so that we are living at our highest capacity in our home and in our hearts. And really, I think it’d be fun if you did a 50 50 split. So when you really look at those pillars, Evelyn, you have one pillar you’re pulling from home interior design style, et cetera, pillar two, you’re pulling from heart redesign. And I think you should play off of that play on words too.

Like today, we’re doing a redesign your heart episode. We’re really going to work on hearing from the Lord. Next one, Hey guys, we are doing a redesign your home episode. You may have to rebrand, but you’re really pulling from today we’re going to redesign whatever your entryway or we’re going to talk about three tips to purging your crazy closet.

Think about purging your crazy closet and then purging the closet of your heart. Oh mic drop. I’m so on a roll guys. Also, you could talk about like maybe, how to create a peacefulness, a peaceful ambiance in your home and creating a peaceful ambiance in your heart. See that, oh man, this is so fun. So you can almost have this like play on words, play on concept.

When it comes to redesigning your home and redesigning your heart. But, if you’re thinking of what to call this brand, I might recommend a rebrand of your show, Evelyn, something like Redesigned Home and Heart or The Home and Heart Show or Home and Heart Redesigned or Styled Home and Heart. It’s not really styled though. You’re not styling their heart. So, you’re like redesigning it, redesigning your heart and home, something like that.
