Are you facing worldly fears and uncovering truths that seem downright EVIL? Me too, sister. Me too. 2020 has been a year for the books…and by that, I mean YO’ BIBLE.

I believe that we are on the brink of a revival. A war of good vs. evil. I see God calling out his army of kingdom warriors and pouring TRUTH into us so that we can see through the deception happening ALL AROUND US.

And to be honest, it’s debilitating. Opening up to it is overwhelming. It brings on a number of emotions that don’t feel GOOD. From FEAR to ANGER to ABANDONMENT. Truth-seeking is scary. The good news is that through the truth we get closer to Jesus. Seeing the world for what it is…FALLEN. THIS is how we stand firm in GOODNESS and show up for what’s right.

Ephesians 6:10-18 “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness…”

If you are suiting up in the armor of God and picking to FIGHT FOR GOOD with me, we first have to rebuke FEAR. Satan wants us to cower in fear. He wants us to isolate and keep quiet. He wants us to overthink and hide. Not today Satan. We see through your glass tower of lies.

(00:01):
Hey friends. Welcome to today’s episode of the Mompreneur Mastermind Show. I’m so excited to bring you today’s episode where we are talking about rebuking a spirit of fear. I don’t know how many of you are a little bit on the edge right now with everything that’s going on in the world.

2020 has been the year, a year for the books, right? What else could possibly happen? We need to knock on some wood. Actually, we need to get into our Bibles and get on our knees.

(00:32):
But I’m here to tell you the good news about 2020. I want to tell you the good news about what God has promised us. I want to reveal the truth to you about fear so that you don’t have to feel this way anymore. This going to be good.

(01:40):

Okay. Let’s just talk about fear for a minute. Shall we? 2020, first we start and we had a COVID first, right? So here we go. We’ve got COVID. Schools shut down at the end of March. Okay. Then we have the race riots that are still kind of going down in some places. We’ve got all of that. People forced not to work and laid off.

(03:25):
Then we have the political craziness going on with two very divided sides right now more than ever. People are pointing fingers. They are fighting. They are just creating these crazy narratives and all of it’s political. We discovered that the news is just sensationalized entertainment. That most of it is built on lies. So many things were revealed to us this year.

(03:53):
We learned that most things are hidden from the mainstream media. Anything positive is definitely hidden from the mainstream media. Why? It doesn’t get reviews. It does not get search results. That’s why we see a couple of things over and over again on the mainstream news. We see Donald Trump, Biden, COVID, and race wars. That’s about it. Right?

(04:24):
The point of me sharing that with you guys, this is my life, you guys, trying to record a podcast for y’all and my kids are like little ducklings. They’re like where’d she go? The precious children of God. Amen. Okay.

(04:40):
Back to what I was saying, the fear is real because we are seeing so much truth revealed. It becomes completely overwhelming. Let me get back to some other things that were revealed to us.

(04:54):
What have we learned about what is happening behind the scenes? Here’s the situation, like everything that we are faced with, we’ve been deceived for so long, right? We didn’t know what we didn’t know. So to learn all of these things and for all of these things to come to light, it’s overbearing, it’s overwhelming. It seems like could this really be happening? Right?

(05:18):
We learned that there’s so much evil here in the world. That sex trafficking and all the things happening with the pedophile community and them trying to normalize this as a behavior, as a mental disability.

Literally in Greece, they’ve already done that. What kind of world are we living in? Where it is normalized as an identity. Something is wrong with this picture. The rabbit hole emerges.

(05:50):
How many of you have seen Out of Shadows? Then you went and watched The Fall of the Cabal. Then you got into the Reddit blogs, and you went down the rabbit hole. You emerge from the rabbit hole wide-eyed and scared.

(06:05):
What did you do? Probably something like me. You decided that you were going to homestead, homeschool, and hide. Yes. I was going to pull my kids out of school, hide from the world, delete social media completely, try to grow a garden. Who am I kidding? I cannot keep succulents alive to save my life, let alone grow a garden. But you know, your girls has got goals.

(06:33):
I was going through that. Fear, deep in my Bible, praying every hour. The funny thing was, I kept praying for God to reveal the truth to me. I was like, don’t let me be deceived. Don’t let me be tricked. I don’t want to be deceived. I was afraid.

Were the political leaders that I was voting for were they affected, you know, by the dark side? Was COVID a scam? Are we in the end of times? Is this the end of the world? Are we being tricked into getting something like the Mark of the beast? All of those things were going through my mind.

(07:14):
Then I realized, okay, I’m literally demonizing everything right now. I’m demonizing every celebrity, every political leader, everything. Public school for indoctrination. It just got really bad. So I had to come back to this place and center myself in God and in Christ and in the word, and be really honest with myself about why I was afraid.

(07:44):
Why was I going down this rabbit hole? I realized a couple of things, and I want to bring those to light for you guys today.

(07:51):
Number one, discovering the truth is never easy. There is a lot of truth to be discovered. We’re going to go into the truth seeker series soon so that I can bring some amazing women on this podcast for you guys, so that you can hear their walk into truth and how they were able to navigate that. How they were able to not get overwhelmed with fear and how they were able to keep fighting, because they are some of the most amazing kingdom soldiers for Jesus now.

(08:23):
I hope what’s to come is this complete revival. That’s the word. This complete revival. I think that they are. I think that we have a choice right now to pick a side, you know, we can pick the good side or we can pick the dark side and we can pick to fight. We can pick the bright side. We can pick the dark side we can pick to hide.

(08:51):
So we have to really come to this place of the world is broken. We know this. This is in the Bible. This is not something that should shock us. We live in a dark broken world. There is evil here. Again, the Bible tells us so, right, as kids. Because the Bible tells you, so why are we so shocked? I think it’s because we are afraid to seek truth because we don’t want to feel fear, don’t want to be uncomfortable.

(09:27):
But we have to get uncomfortable in order to be open to the full glory of God and to allow ourselves to be the vessel. Right? So I decided, okay, I can either hide, which I almost did.

You guys saw last week in Instagram stories, I was this close, like a tiny bit. I was like two inches from completely deleting the app. That’s exactly what Satan wanted. He said, how many people can I get to cower in a spirit of fear so that they stop showing up?

(10:07):
They stop spreading light. They don’t talk about truth. How many people can I persecute for sharing the truth about all the things we’re sharing right now? Every time we share a fact that the world doesn’t want to see, we’re going to be persecuted from it.

Every time you stand up to someone else who’s speaking up for the world, something that’s been normalized, you will be prosecuted. Get used to it.

(10:34):
We were not promised that when we fight for the truth, that it was going to be easy. So that’s when it clicked. I realized I’m not going to hide. I’m literally handing over the trophy to Satan if I hide. If I get off the apps, if I stopped showing up as a truth seeker right now, he wins.

Not today. Also I am not living up to my full potential of who God called me to be if I just simply say, well, I’m a believer and he’ll take care of me. I wait for heaven to happen to me and I hide. No, no, no.

(11:15):
The way that I want to show up for my mission and my calling is to help other people see the way. Bring people to Christ, show them the light, remove the fear so that they are not frozen and unsure. There’s really only two choices my friends, right?

Stay silent, stay afraid, do things the world’s way, follow everyone in the world is following. Choose everything that’s been normalized even though if you look at the Bible, there are so many things that the world is normalizing that is specifically and implicitly stated as evil and wrong.

(11:57):
Or you choose God’s way. The hard way. We know from the Bible, right? The only way to heaven is through Jesus Christ and the gates are narrow. We know it.

(12:11):
So we have a choice. Are we going to stand up and fight and keep showing up, even though we’re going to be persecuted, it’s going to feel scary, and we’re going to be sitting in fear? My answer’s yes.

(12:22):
I don’t know about you, but I invite you to come with me. That’s why I’m recording this episode for you. Because if you’re going to be a truth seeker and you’re going to stand up against what’s wrong right now in this world and what’s evil. I’m not talking about politics, I’m not talking about wear a mask. Don’t wear a mask. All of that. You guys come on. Those are distractions. Wake up. Those are distractions.

(12:49):
What is happening behind the scenes of the distractions are Satan’s army are getting the us by the juggler. They’re gripping us in fear, hide, isolate. Don’t talk to each other. Don’t show up.

They’re using other tactics to try to indoctrinate us, try to mind control us. If you want to see the truth, just get in your Bible. Okay? I’m not going to tell you what to believe. I’m not going to tell you what rabbit holes to follow. It starts in your Bible and with prayer.

(13:25):
You first have to ask God to show you the truth in order for those things to be revealed to you. But if you’re going to do that, put on the armor of God, because the fear is real right now. So let me give you some scripture. Then we’ll say a prayer together to rebuke fear from your life, from your choices, from your heart.

(13:47):
First one, 2 Timothy 1:7 for God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. Did you hear those three things? So God did not give us a spirit of fear, but he gave us a spirit of power. We literally have the power of the Holy Spirit within us each and every one of us.

We are so powerful. Imagine if we all came together and we quit cowering in fear, and we started to fight for what’s right. We started to open our mouths against the things that we are seeing against the truths that are being revealed to us.

(14:36):
We stopped just nodding yes because we didn’t want to get into it. Because we didn’t want to be persecuted, we didn’t know for sure if anybody would judge us for saying anything about this thing wrong. We are not here to please man. We are here to please, God, am I right?

(14:55):
Are you here to please man? If you are, I would really reconsider where your loyalties lie, because I don’t know where we stand as a world. I don’t know where we stand on the timeline of things, but here’s what I do know. I am not going to worry about what man thinks of me if I know that what I’m doing is pleasing God. Nothing else matters. Right? Nothing else matters.

(15:29):
The second one is of love. We can think of it this way. Is what I’m seeing and doing in hate or in fear, or is it in love? How can I give, serve, solve, speak ministry, speak truth, and pray with people right now? How can I forgive? Those are acts of love. Finally, self-discipline and this one gets me because what do I want to do? I want to panic, move, and hide.

(15:52):
I’m like, wait, can we move? Let’s escape. But no. But God. Self-discipline. How do I discipline my emotion? I bring it back to God. I’ve got to pray, read scripture, and analyze it. I’ve got to talk to some of my sisters in Christ to get some stability back in my emotion and remind myself that I won’t be held down. I won’t be afraid. Right? So self-discipline. That includes disciplining your emotions and your choices right now.

(16:28):
Okay? The next thing. Philippians 4:6 don’t worry about anything. Instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank him for all that he has done. So some of you that may be feeling fear right now are struggling with a feeling of abandonment.

How could God be letting these things happen? How are all of these evil things being revealed? I just can’t handle this. I’m just so afraid. I’m so angry. Again, we are directly told not to worry, but to pray.

(17:01):
Basically, give it to God. Because here’s the thing, God makes good out of every single situation, including all of this. He promises us that the evils will be revealed. Everything will come to light so we can be excited as Christians.

We can be excited about where we sit because we have a front row seat girls to the big reveal when all of the lies and the evil come crashing down. We get to say that we stood together and stayed strong. Thank God for all that he has done, right?

(17:41):
Because our time here is so fleeting and we’re so hyper focused on what’s happening in the world. Are we missing the bigger picture? Are we missing that us staying strong, praying about everything, living in a spirit of power, love, and self-discipline, and then thinking God for all that he is doing behind the scenes, that is going to prepare us to be fully free in heaven in eternity forever. Think of the bigger picture here.

(18:13):
Okay, next Philippians 4:7. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Jesus Christ. This one’s big. When we finally let go of fear, of indecision, when we see the truth and walking down the road to truth, as you’ll see in the true seeker series, it’s scary. It’s a lot to handle. Okay.

(18:43):
But when we allow ourselves to go there and we allow ourselves to see the full picture of what’s happening here on earth, the bad with the good, but then we have trust and we pray and we accept. We choose our choices carefully, live in a Christ-like fashion, and feel this Holy Spirit’s peace.

(19:07):
I’ll have my days where I’m freaking out. I just had a day like yesterday. But today I’m reminded like breathe, I’ve got this. You are sitting in this beautiful space of peace, protected, and you are good. No matter what happens to you here, your salvation is secured. I feel such peace in that promise.

(19:32):
Also in this verse, it says his peace will guard your hearts and minds. If you’re tired of your mind going at a hundred miles a minute, indecision, freaking out and going off into the deep end, and focusing on the darkness, then remember this promise.

When you let go and hand it to Jesus Christ, he will guard your heart and your mind and fill it with peace. What a beautiful promise! All the things that are happening in the world, yet we’re promised peace if we just give it back.

(20:09):
So here’s the takeaway. We control nothing, which is kind of sad because there’s so many amazing people on this planet. Yet we control nothing. Why? We live in a fallen world.

We can’t control what’s on the news, which political leaders are running, who holds the billions and billions of dollars, what’s happening in the big picture scheme of things, and in the storylines that are being fed down. Just all the evils, we can’t control that.

(20:47):
But here’s what we can do. We can fight to save more souls, be beacons of truth and light in this dark world, show up in a big way and pray, normalize prayer, scripture, and normalize asking questions when things don’t feel or seem right.

We can share good things on social media until they censor us because you better believe I’m going to share the truth until they delete me. I almost deleted myself, and I realized that was a play from Satan.

(21:24):
Not today, Satan, like your girl has the art of discernment. Thank you. So are you going to continue to bury your head in the sand and to be afraid and to live in fear, hide, and isolate? I’m not saying isolate as far as COVID.

I’m saying, isolating your heart, your mind, and what you want to say to the world right now. Or are you going to step out and step up out of your fear. Put your trust in God and really be led in a big way to be strengthened.

(21:59):
Because Isaiah 41:10 do not be afraid for I am with you. Do not be discouraged for, I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. We are promised salvation when we simply ask. When we simply walk with Christ. We don’t need to be afraid. Okay? We are here for it. We’re here to be enlightened by God’s way.

(22:30):
We are also here to see truth in the world’s way. Deception might be all around us, but because we have the wisdom of the Holy Spirit, we get to choose to not be deceived. It’s that easy friends.

(22:44):
So let’s just rebuke fear out of our lives. Let’s rebuke it out of our homes, out of our choices over what we’re going to do with our kids this year. Make the choice to be intentional about living in God’s favor, living with the Spirit and the fruit of Jesus.

(23:05):
Okay? Let’s close our eyes unless you’re driving. Don’t close your eyes. Who drives anymore? We’re in COVID right. Y’all at home in your PJ’s right now.

(23:12):
Lord God, I lift up every single person listening to this podcast right now. I pray that you rebuke the fear from our hearts, minds, and homes in Jesus’s name. I pray that by the blood of Jesus, we are fueled with belief and encouragement, what is right with discernment and truth more now than ever before.

That we are filled with your courageous Holy Spirit so we can speak out on the things that we know to be truth. Point out the truth in the things we know are lies and evil so that the world can see.

(23:48):
I pray that we come together as kingdom soldiers for you right now. I pray that you bring us together in the Spirit, in this closeness, in this trust. That we can work together to continue to fight for your good. That you keep us from hiding and that you push us forward into the world so that we can spread our light. So that we can be the seed. We can be the fruit of Jesus Christ and have your message here on earth.

(24:12):
Because I know that if whoever is listening to this podcast right now is here on purpose. That you’ve given them something to share with the world and that we will not be silent. We will not be silent.

So that you just pour into us that belief, the courage, the heart to show up for you, regardless of what the world says. That you give us strength to pursue through persecution. You just give us every single thing that we need to be safe.

(24:46):
That there’s a hedge of protection around all of us right now, more than ever before. We ask you to give us peace as promised in the Bible. Lord, as you promised us. Give us peace in our hearts, over our thoughts, in our lives, our marriages, relationships, and with our children.

We love you, have ultimate trust in your greater plan right now, whatever you are doing behind the scenes, we trust you, and have faith in your plan above our own. In Jesus’s name, amen. I’ll see you guys here back real soon as we dig into the truth seeker series.
