Speaker 1: (00:01)
Hello, my loves. I have such a special treat for you today. I have my podcast girls from Podcast to Profit here in the group with me, and we’re just going to be going through and really revealing all. We’re going to have a tell all session about what it’s really like behind the scenes of this 90-day immersion mastermind program. If you’ve got a podcast and you really want that show to scale, rank, be visible, you want to understand SEO, keywords, marketing, titling.
(00:33)
You want to know how to create a systemized workflow and get more done with less time. You want to create a course program or profitable coaching offer and then learn how to actually sell it. Then this is the program for you. I brought on some of my grads to just tell you guys the real scoop. I’m super excited to do this. First up is Angela Barnard. Hi Angela!
Speaker 2: (00:58)
Hey, Stef! Hey girls!
Speaker 1: (01:00)
Tell everybody your name and your podcast and a little bit about it.
Speaker 2: (01:05)
All right. Well, I’m Angela Barnard, like Stefanie said, and my podcast is called The Intentional Mind Podcast. It’s really about helping people intentionally design their life. And I talk a lot about the brain’s role in achieving our goals and aligning your habits and your systems with your overall vision and who you want to be.
Speaker 1: (01:25)
That’s so good. I love that. I need that show my life. So talk to us about what was going through your head before you invested in P2P. Like what were the fears or the thoughts that were scrolling through?
Speaker 2: (01:39)
The big thing for me was having the time to do it and making the time just because of everything else that’s going on in my life with my other job and like, you know, managing my household and all the things, that was a big thing for me and just making the investment and knowing that it was, it was going to pay off for me.
(01:57)
Cause like a lot of times, you know, when you’re investing in a program, you’re like, am I going to follow through, am I going to do the work? Is it going to be worth it? All of those thoughts were going in my mind.
Speaker 1: (02:05)
I know. I still have those thoughts as I’m looking at programs or courses or coaches or whatever that I’m looking at. So what happened for you to go, I’m going to make the time for this and I’m going to make this scary investment in myself.
Speaker 2: (02:19)
Well, I teach a lot around having a vision for the direction you want to take your life and really acting like the person that you want to be. So I was thinking like, I looked at you stuff, and I admired you and how you designed your life, how you weren’t like obsessed with being on social media constantly and just your values.
(02:36)
It all lined up with me and I’m like, I want to be like her. I always teach. If you want to be like, someone like surround yourself with them and their wisdom and invest in resources, act like they do. Everyone I admire, like including you, like you invest in yourself.
(02:50)
When I looked at my vision, I was like, okay, for me to be this kind of person, how do I need to act? What resources do I need? How do I need to spend time and energy? I was like, P2P, that’s the answer to who I want to be. Actually what convinced my husband of making that, like allowing me to make this investment or at least being okay with it was my vision board that I pulled out and I was like, look, this is the kind of entrepreneur that I want to be. This person is like that. She teaches on that and it lines up with my vision and that’s how I made the decision.
Speaker 1: (03:22)
Girl, that’s so that is so good. That advice is gold right there. I really liked that you brought up your husband because one of the biggest barriers to entry, you know, ladies is getting our spouses on board, especially when we don’t have the, that profit or that success story, quote, unquote, to show them it’s a big leap of faith. You showing him the vision of where you want it to go and that authentic candid conversation with him about that. Got you the, yes. So good. Tell us about, was it worth, it was this program worth it for you? What were your breakthroughs?
Speaker 2: (03:54)
It was so worth it. I’m just so glad that I took that step because I mean, above and beyond, like things happen that I didn’t even imagine would happen. Before I started, I just, I just started a podcast. I was new to the podcasting world. I had this thought that it was going to take me a long time to be monetizing my podcast or making money from it, that it was going to be really hard.
(04:19)
Like these were the thoughts that were running in my mind. Once we started the program, like quickly, I feel like that belief was like demolished. Once I started implementing the strategies that you were teaching, it just is crazy. Cause I was ranking in six different countries, countries that I don’t know anybody there. So this is all due to the strategies that you’re teaching.
Speaker 2: (04:40)
And it wasn’t because I was on social media more. I wasn’t out there promoting more, anything. But I simply changed the way that I was uploading my podcasts. So I just changed simple things I was already doing just from what you taught. So my podcast started growing. It grew like more than 60%. It keeps growing. What else has happened? I created an offering during, because I was inspired by everything you were teaching. So I just put something out there.
(05:03)
My first offering sold out and then before P2P even ended, I started this other program and half of that sold out before I announced it publicly. Okay, get this, people were messaging me like dream. My dream guests were messaging me that people that are like, I have three New York times bestselling books and three Ted talks and I make a gazillion dollars. Can I be on your podcast? I was like, what is this real life? So there’s just so much stuff that was happening and I can go on forever, but I won’t take all the time.
Speaker 1: (05:31)
Oh my gosh. Okay. Ranking 60% growth sold out offer. I’d say it’s worth it. Definitely.
Speaker 2: (05:40)
I had no clients on the calendar that were scheduled and once I just started implementing what you were teaching, it was like people were coming. It was like, I was attracting all like clients that were people that I would seriously pray for. The kind of people I’d love to work with were just messaging me like, Hey, I want to do one-on-one with you. I had not even
Speaker 3: (05:58)
Like mentioned that stuff. So this was like early on. And I was like, Whoa, this is totally possible. It’s not as hard as I thought it was. It just blew my mind.
Speaker 1: (06:08)
Good for you. I am so excited for you. Iron sharpens iron saying yes to yourself, blows the lid off and having that accountability and then intentional training and coaching of knowing what to do all of that catapulted Angela’s success. You guys go check out her podcast, the intentional mind podcast and Angela, thanks for sharing.
Speaker 3: (06:27)
Thanks so much, Stef.
Speaker 1: (06:29)
Oh, you’re so cool. I’m so excited for this. You guys, this is so much fun to hear these stories. Next up is Katie Hedrick. Katie say hi to everybody and tell them a little bit about your podcast.
Speaker 3: (06:38)
Hey girl, it’s such a joy to be here today. My podcast is called Stepping Into a Joy Filled Life, and we’re all about Kingdom mindset, marriage, motherhood, and intentional living over there. The show is really designed to help women grow in the areas that matter most as a wife, as a mother, as a beloved Kingdom daughter and as a friend. So we’re all about joy, Jesus and iced coffee over on my show.
Speaker 1: (07:05)
Well girl, you know, I’m all about all of those things. We are yo’ cup. So talk to me about what were your fears, yourn thoughts, your overwhelm before coming into P2P?
Speaker 3: (07:17)
Absolutely. It was two things. One of them was the investment. I’m going to be totally honest. But we have this mutual friend who’s absolutely incredible, Heather Shriver Burns. Her and I had been talking, I had just kind of recently found your show stuff. I had listened to some episodes. I was like, she’s pretty awesome. She really seems to know her stuff. Like I hear her talking about this Podcast to Profit, but I’m just not really sure about the investment, and Heather and I were talking and she said, this most impactful thing to me.
(07:45)
She said, “Katie, if you’re expecting your clients to invest money with you, you’ve got to be sure that you’re investing money back into yourself.” It hit me right between the eyes. I’ve been all about investing into myself personally for years and years and years. It was just really time to take that leap of faith and really make that investment into my business as I’m now stepping forward and asking clients to invest with me with my coaching.
Speaker 3: (08:12)
That comment that Heather made really got me off the fence. And I can absolutely assure you that the investment is going to have a hundred fold ROI, that it was absolutely worth every penny spent. The second thing for me honestly, was accountability. And the thing is that accountability for me was like my biggest fear and the thing that I needed most. I was so nervous Stef, for you to come along beside me and push me forward. And to know that I was going to have to show up every week with my homework done with those action steps taken.
(08:45)
And if I didn’t right, like I didn’t want to look like the loser girl that showed up the only one that didn’t ever homework done. Right? That accountability really pushed me forward and propelled me forward. It helped me to launch all the things that I’d been on the fence about launching in my business and really take those next steps forward to monetizing. It was just this gentle, loving push that I was terrified of that I absolutely needed.
Speaker 1: (09:10)
Isn’t that crazy? Sometimes the thing that we are most afraid of is he very thing that’s keeping us from the breakthrough. And I love so much that you brought that up because I’ve been in that position. So, Katie hearing all of that, was it worth it? What were your biggest breakthrough is coming out of the program?
Speaker 3: (09:29)
Oh my gosh, Girl. During the course of the program, my podcast hit 20,000 downloads. Yeah, Girl. I’m way beyond that now. I’m super excited. I feel like that’s an amazing start and I know that it’s just going to grow and grow and grow. And you know, one thing I’ve shared this with you, Stef, one thing I love about you is that your heart is so big and you give so freely and so openly and you give all your best stuff away.
(09:55)
You had shared on your podcast, how important it was to put relevant keywords in the title of your podcast on your listing and as well as putting those feeler keywords in your titles of your episodes. I love your heart and that you’d give that away. And I had done that, but again, circling back around to the P2P program, it’s the accountability. It’s coming in
Speaker 3: (10:18)
and actually you helping us put into practice what you’ve already taught us and holding us accountable for that. And so I really attribute what you taught and that push that you give in P2P to me hitting those 20,000 downloads. You bring this fresh perspective to the table and you help us really dial in our avatar and clean up those keywords and really make those work and mesh together. I just see so much growth.
(10:45)
Everyone that was involved in the program, I’ve just seen their downloads explode as a direct result of what you’re teaching. The other thing for me was that I got my Christian life coaching certification. I completed that back in December, and God had been whispering to my heart. Like girl, it’s time to launch the thing. It’s time to open up and, and offer the service to one-on-one clients.
Speaker 3: (11:06)
And I was just like, I kept making all the excuses, why I couldn’t do it yet. The Lord just kept pushing and pushing and pushing that on my heart. And then along comes Stef. She’s like, all right, girls, we’re going to launch that thing. That thing that the Lord is speaking to your heart. It’s time to launch. It’s time to do this thing. Then there, she was your stuff just gently moving me forward and then boom, it launches. I’m just so absolutely excited about the future of the podcast and of the coaching.
Speaker 1: (11:32)
Katie, I’m so excited for you. Sometimes we just need that little nudge, that push, the sisters, the encouragement along the way that I can actually do this because I’m looking from my left to my right. And the women beside me are launching and doing big things too, which then empowers you like, why not me? God’s chosen me, too. And I love to see you step up into that power.
(11:53)
I’m so excited for your downloads. It’s going to explode from here. Thank you so much for sharing.
Speaker 3: (12:00)
Thank you, Stef, for everything you’ve taught us. You’re so appreciated, girl.
Speaker 1: (12:05)
Next up is Heidi Bramm. Heidi. What’s up girl? Tell everybody a little bit about your podcast.
Speaker 4: (12:14)
Hey Stef. I launched my podcast Covered Beloved in November of 2020. My mission there is really just to infuse faith based truths, transformational thinking in a holistic living for Kingdom moms on their journeys, so they can stop going through the motions and live a more fulfilled life. My goal is really empowering Christian, modern Christian Moms to shift their mindset, their biblical homemaking and their healing journeys to line with the Kingdom of God. So just creating that Kingdom-first mentality that Christ has given us the power to overcome the identity struggles, the mom guilt, the self-doubt that says we’re not enough.
(12:52)
And just to infuse the supernatural and Spirit-led inspiration into our lives. So we can simply and effectively create a legacy and equip our children to become the salt and light of the earth. That is first and foremost of my podcast, but I also love teaching people how to incorporate essential oils as a first line of defense for their health in their home. I believe that we’re designed to prosper in all things and be in health just as our soul prospers and that when God created the earth, He didn’t leave us without solution. It’s a mix of mindset, motherhood and holistic living.
Speaker 1: (13:23)
Yes and amen. All the amens. I’m sure everyone, you guys are gonna want to check that out. Heidi, tell us a little bit about the limiting beliefs maybe or the setbacks, or like the fears, what was going through your mind before saying yes to Podcast to Profit?
Speaker 4: (13:40)
I think it was most, my biggest fear was is this going to work for me? Because I have invested in coaching programs before. In fact, I have a $3,000 coaching program. It’s sitting in a box in my closet because when I got into the program, it was so overwhelming. Just that fear of am I going to follow through on this? Is this going to work for me?
(14:04)
But I agree with Angela in that action accelerates, and what is so beautiful about P2P is it’s literally step by step. You hold our hand step by step and what Katie was sharing about the accountability and just making sure you have your homework done each week. It’s line upon line precept upon precept to grow in the area that we just need to take it step by step.
Speaker 1: (14:27)
Follow up question to that. We learn so much in Podcast to Profit. In 90 days, we learn SEO, keywords, titling. I do podcast audits with you guys. We do visibility. We learn how to create a program. You learn Pinterest marketing. We learn launch strategy workshops. I mean, how could all of that information not be overwhelming?
Speaker 4: (14:53)
I think that’s the brilliant design behind P2P is it’s probably one of the most intelligently lead design programs I’ve ever participated in where by the end, even at 12 weeks, everybody’s still showing up. Everybody’s still doing their homework. I think just if I can share this, even maybe if this is a secret sauce, but the pods, the little community pods that we have, because I know that, God designed the kingdom for family.
(15:17)
So getting together with your little pod family every week, multiple times a week, that was just a really huge part of keeping on task and leaning into each other’s strengths. And just me being able to keep that momentum moving forward week upon week.
Speaker 1: (15:33)
I think you’re so right, because we can get, we can learn. We can have all this training, but if nobody’s there to really help you implement, I think that’s where we drop the ball. That’s where we get into our, can I do this or the how, or the tech will hold us back, but P2P leaves literally nothing to be desired because you learn. Then we implement together between office hours, pod breakouts and our Friday mini-coaching session breakouts.
(15:57)
So you have all of this implementation to make sure nobody gets left behind. And you’re right, Heidi. I also have never seen a program where 100% of the students are showing up at the very end. So thank you for bringing that up. Talk to us about your biggest breakthrough. What happened for you, your business emotionally, whatever throughout the program?
Speaker 4: (16:18)
I think my biggest breakthrough was really just, can I do the thing? It sounds so simple, but creating that action every week and moving forward just helped with the confidence and the clarity in what I’m doing, who I’m here to serve, how I’m here to serve them. And so just getting more inside my mom’s brain of what she’s looking for, tailoring my message, like Katie said, helping create solutions for where she’s struggling.
(16:41)
That would be like maybe emotionally or more personal breakthrough. But in my podcast, I had an increase of downloads by 40%. I increased my super-fan number by 40%. And my podcast hit number three in the Apple podcast, alternative health category in East Africa of all places, which was not intentional for me. Just seeing those notches move forward, it was just like encouraging enough each time to be like, keep going, keep going, keep going.
Speaker 1: (17:07)
I mean, seriously, 40% download and super fan growth in just 90 days. Like people spend years trying to grow by 40%. I think that is insane. That is incredible. Niching into who your person is. I’m so excited for you and you guys are all just doing such incredible work for God’s kingdom. So thanks for sharing Heidi.
Speaker 4: (17:32)
Thanks, Stef for the opportunity. So great. Excited to keep moving forward.
Speaker 1: (17:36)
Yes, me too. Okay. Mika. We have Micaela I’ll let her pronounce her name correctly for you guys. I call her Mika for short. Tell us about your podcast.
Speaker 5: (17:47)
Yeah. Hi Stef. Hi everyone. I’m so excited to be here. It’s Micaela, that’s fine. Yeah, you did great. My podcast it’s a little bit more unique for me, I think because I had a podcast for about a year. It was Coffee, Jeans and Jesus and I had started another podcast right before joining Podcast to Profit about a month before I really felt God leading me in a new direction.
(18:18)
And that was really to reach out and empower my Latina sisters, but I didn’t know how to kind of blend both of them. My podcast is The Fearless Mujer, which is really just helping each Latina woman get over the fear, get over those limiting beliefs so that she can finally step into her God-given purpose.
(18:41)
So I just feel that it’s important to remind women that they have a purpose, no matter what, but one of the biggest breakthroughs that I had about while being part of Podcast to Profit was really having confirmation and clarity about rebranding and moving in the direction that God was taking me on. You gave me the courage, Stef, to just step into that. I’m really grateful for that because since rebranding, I’ve seen God really move and confirm to me that that’s exactly where He wanted it.
Speaker 1: (19:20)
Obedience brings miracles, right? It didn’t make sense. I already have a podcast for an entire year, but when we had that conversation, that real heart to heart conversation about what God was really asking of you and how can we blend this and shouldn’t, I just make them work together. You know? The answer was clear.
(19:39)
It was, God’s asking you to start over with this new avatar and you’ve stepped out in faith and you did a lot of work that the other P2P students didn’t have to do. Cause you, you went through an entire rebrand and you kept up with us. So girl, major kudos to you. Talk to me about what were the limiting beliefs or the fears around saying yes to this program coming into it?
Speaker 5: (20:05)
For me, honestly, I’ll be very, very honest. It was the finances because my family and I had just transitioned, we moved out of state. My husband had lost his job, but I kept hearing the call to join Podcast to Profit. I just kept feeling like, God, I feel like I have to be there. Like I’m supposed to be there for some reason. And it was like your last call to like, this is the last time to join. You have to join now it’s going to close.
(20:35)
I remember just telling my husband, I don’t know why, but I feel like I’m supposed to be there. He’s like, really well, how much is it, you know, I feel like that’s the first question always asked. They want to know how much it is. And I told him, and he’s like, do you really feel like you have like, you’re supposed to be there?
Speaker 5: (20:54)
In this season that I was entering, I felt God stretching my faith and that’s always scary and uncomfortable. He just said, if you feel like this is where God wants you, then do it. And I was like, what? I’m so grateful that I did it because it was a huge step of faith for me. You know, my husband had just lost his job, but God will provide, you know, ever since being in P2P, I launched my coaching program and I had women join.
(21:27)
It’s because P2P gave me the confidence to do that and Stef, you’re such a beautiful mentor. Your heart is so authentic and you believe in, in the women that you’re leading so much that you just give us the courage to step out in faith and do what God is calling us to do.
Speaker 1: (21:49)
That means so much to me. Thank you so much for saying that. It’s so true. I see in all of you, this vibrant, just Holy Spirit, glimmer of Kingdom work that God has planted in each of your hearts. It’s truly my job in podcast to profit to help you guys crush those fears and move past any boundary or limitation to just, like you said, step out in big audacious faith. Because if you guys aren’t stepping out in faith, you’re not being the ripple and that’s the whole point, you know, it’s not, I want you guys to make money.
(22:26)
Yes. Which all of you are, which is yay. That’s amazing, like launching a program and making money, but really truly like if I’m just going to be blatantly honest, that’s not why I run this program. Why I run this is because when you all are speaking out with your voices on your podcasts, blessing the women that you’re called to bless you create a ripple of transformation, generationally forever.
(22:49)
Moms that then transform their children that then transform the women, listening to the show, which transformed the people that they know it’s infinitely glory for the Kingdom. And you just reiterated that. It’s everything to me.
Speaker 5: (23:04)
But also I do want to say, you know, on the technical side that I have gained such a solid foundation from Podcast to Profit when it comes to the structure of how I run my podcast, the setup, you know, the SEO, the juicy titles. I feel like that’s something that really stuck with me where I’m like, this is juicy enough for my girl, for my person that’s listening. I think like a month into Podcast to Profit I received a message and I was ranking 76 in Apple podcasts in Spain for like self-improvement.
(23:44)
I was like, is Stefanie a magician or something? Because I mean, it’s 76, but that’s still kind of like, I had just rebranded, you know what I mean? I thought that was like, wow. Also, I do get more than double the downloads each week of what I was getting in the other podcast, which I already had for about a year. I thought that’s, you know, that’s pretty amazing when you actually see that, what you’ve taught us that we implemented and it’s working.
Speaker 1: (24:15)
Oh my goodness. 76 is huge. You’ve had so many wins and many breakthroughs. Thank you, Mika for sharing all of that with us.
Speaker 5: (24:25)
Thank you.
Speaker 1: (24:27)
You guys listening, go check out their shows. We’ve got the Intentional Mind Podcast, Stepping Into a Joy Filled Life, Covered Beloved and The Fearless Mujer. What I just want to wrap up by saying is if any of you listening right now are feeling that tug, you’re feeling that heart just whisper. You’re feeling the Holy Spirit goosebumps. Listen to that. All of these women had the same fears that you have.
(24:55)
Can I afford it? Can I do this? Do I have time? Will this work for me? My husband isn’t onboard and on and on. But they all said yes. They said yes to believing that they could do this, that it was going to work for them. That the provision and favor would show up to invest in the program to invest in themselves and look at how God moved in each of their lives, their podcasts, breakthroughs, their programs, not one of these women.
Speaker 1: (25:20)
Didn’t have something that was truly miraculous to share about what happened during this program. Thank you guys for being here with me and if you have any questions about the program? Come post in the Facebook group, or you can email us support@stefaniegass.com or you can reach out to any of the ladies that I’m sure that they would be happy to chat with you more about the program. All right, God bless. I’ll see you guys next week.
