(00:00):
We are going to be talking about podcasts to profit. I brought on another round of P2P graduates who are going to be sharing with you, everything from their fears, their limiting beliefs about, should I do this? Can I do this? Can I afford it? What changed for them?
And ultimately wasn’t really worth it. Let’s find out. I think you’re going to love today’s episode. If you have a podcast, you’re going to, for sure, want to hang tight because some of these stories are so transformational. And I know when you hear this,
(00:33):
You’re going to believe it that, Hey, maybe you can do it too.
(01:40):
First step, I want to say hi to my sweet friend, Juliana, Juliana, say hi to everybody and tell us about your podcast.
(01:49):
Hi everybody. So my name’s Judy on the upper body and my podcast is called at the beginner mom boss podcast. And actually this is my second round doing P2P. I was in the first class and then obviously I took a break and I was just really missing the community and accountability and just having stuff all over my business.
And I was like, husband, listen, really gotta do this again. And he is very supportive. He was like, okay, if, if you want to go for it, go for it. It was amazing.
(02:24):
I love your husband. Yay. For support. Talk to me a little bit about what have the breakthroughs Ben, over two rounds of podcast, a profit for you? Like, was it worth it? Oh my gosh.
(02:37):
So worth it. So the first time around I had just launched my podcast. My podcast is brand new and I wasn’t so clear because you know, I wanted to go a direction and stuff was like, oh, you’re going this way, girl. And I was like, okay, I’ll listen to you. I don’t want to, but I’ll do it.
I’m so glad I did because at the end of the first round I had, so I started with P zero downloads and I ended with 2,100 downloads this time around, I am ending P2P with 24,000 downloads. I have recurring clients, I’m launching a course and I just have this vision for my business now. I see it going places.
The first time that I did P2P, I saw, you know, the women who were ahead of me and the head or the superfans and all these things. I was like, how did they do it? How is this possible? And now like what, like four months later here I am. And it’s just like, my mind is shattered, honestly.
(03:43):
I mean, it’s crazy from zero to 24,000 downloads clients, recurrent client recurring clients, a course, plus you have the six figure Amazon and Etsy shops, which is what your brand is based around. It’s like massive success for you. I’m so here for that. And it’s just the beginning because that growth and momentum, it really grows upon itself.
And now that you have all the foundations in place, it’s straight up from here. So good. So Juliano final thing. What would you say to anybody who’s on the fence about investing in P2P? Honestly,
(04:18):
You have to take a leap of faith and you have to believe yourself and make the investment because Stefanie is going to be all over your business. She’s going to guide you through, and this is my second time you guys, and who knows when I’m going to come back for the third and a fourth time, it’s totally worth it. And I can’t imagine, like not having stuff in my life, I’m already freaking out that P2P is over like seriously.
So just, just believe in yourself and believe stuff and just go for it. Ah, I love that. And I can’t imagine a P2P without you either. I’m like just stay with me forever and keep reading.
(04:54):
Yes. I mean guys, just so you guys know, Stefanie is the only podcasts, only business podcasts I listened to. I’m a, like a hard hardcore Lola over here. Hardcore.
(05:04):
I love that. Well, I’m so grateful for you and thank you for sharing your heart with us. Thank you. Okay. Next up is Alicia. Alicia, tell us about your podcast.
(05:16):
Hi! I”m Alicia. My podcast is called Blackwell creative and the podcast is focused on helping black women creatives, reignite their artistic dreams and making them into a reality, whatever that reality, you know, whatever their dream is for them making it into a reality. So, yeah,
(05:30):
I love that. So good. Talk to me about what were the fears or the limiting beliefs or the setbacks that you were before saying yes. To podcast to profit?
(05:40):
Yeah, so I had spent a lot of money on previous programs and it was a lot of time, a lot of effort, and I felt like I really didn’t have something I could look back on and say, okay, this was worth it. When I heard about the program, I was like, is this going to be another one of those programs where you just have to grind and hustle the whole?
And then at the end, you’re just exhausted more than actually having outcomes. That was one of the things that really stopping me from joining just, you know, being burnt out and being burned from other programs taken before. So yeah. Yeah. I
(06:11):
Can so relate to that. You know, having programs that throw so much training at you, but there’s no implementation, no accountability. The outcome is fuzzy at the end. What do you think is the, what happened like that was that fear realized or what was different about this program?
(06:30):
Yeah, so I was actually listening to the podcast for a while. I actually don’t even know how actually I do know how I found you. I found it through a previous program and I started listening to your podcast because of your refreshing. It was, you were bringing a whole different message rather than talking about, you know, bringing in what you want to attract and things like that.
Like, it was very Christ centered. And so that for me was something I could trust. That was something I could hold onto as opposed to just like, wish it didn’t dream it and make it into one thing. It’s like, no, do the business that God called you to do. And I think when I heard that podcast, I think you were talking about how, if other people are doing what you want to do you should still do it. This is my person. I need to do this ASAP.
(07:07):
I love it. And what about that fear of, is it just going to be another hustle harder? Like you end at the end, super overwhelmed with nothing to show for it. What were the breakthroughs? What were the takeaways? Why do you think this was different from all the other things you’ve tried? Yeah.
(07:23):
I’m not tired. If anything, I’m more rejuvenated. I am focused, but more than that, I think I’ve left this. I’ve taken from this trust in God. And I feel like that was one of my big blocks. Like one of my big business blocks was me trying to do everything myself. I feel like I grew up doing everything for myself. And so it’s really hard to trust God. And I feel like even though we were talking about business and podcasting, well, that’s all fine and good.
I feel like for me the one thing I can take away from this is that God is in control of everything. Like I show up and do the work, but he is the one, you know, he’s the one that makes it grow. It was like that scripture talks about, you know, if I build a house and he, you know, is not building it, there’s no point, you know what I mean? So it’s really up to him to really make the thing grow. So, yeah,
(08:02):
That’s so good. Just growing that trust and faith and that confidence too. That’s another really big thing I saw grow in you was your confidence. Like we pushed you guys so hard, right? I mean, you had to push me, you had to have homework done every week and that was out of your comfort zone, but you continuously showed up for
(08:21):
That. Yeah, yeah. That, that definitely is. I think it’s because again, being a black woman in a lot of spaces, you feel like your voice isn’t valued. You feel like you’re not valued your point of view. And so you’re used to kind of just taking the back seat, but this program doesn’t let you take a backseat. Like there is no hiding here and that’s exactly what I needed.
(08:40):
Oh, I love that. No hiding here. Everybody has a seat at the table and Steff’s here to force you to speak up. Right? Exactly. Oh, well, I’m so grateful. Thank you for sharing. And just being part of this journey with me.
(08:55):
Yes. Thanks for having me. I appreciate it. Everything.
(08:59):
Thanks girl. So next step is Ellie. Ellie. Tell us a little bit about your podcast.
(09:06):
Hi. Yes. So my name is Ellie Conklin and my podcast is called the Spanglish mama and you’ll be joy podcast and it’s all about holy spirit led parenting and the power of words using biblically based affirmations.
(09:20):
So here for it. So Ellie, what were your fears, the swirling thoughts in your mind? The like Ugh moments before saying yes to P2P.
(09:33):
Yeah. I had to ask co is very hardcore. What was it? He actually communicated this to me through something else. It was a sentence that really summarized it all. Is that what you honor you attract? And in the moment when I asked for your pricing menu, I was a little bit overwhelmed. Can I just be real? And the holy spirit was like, daughter, can you believe that? I love you. And I know that you are worth it.
And can you believe that she is worth it and I have connect to you. So just trust me and believe in me and just pray for this. And when I tell you that I said, okay, I surrender it. I didn’t even think about it. I said, Lord, okay. I’ll decide to say yes. And he brought the provision in ways that I could not imagine. Like right now I almost I’m choking up y’all cause I want to cry because it was totally a miracle.
(10:35):
And what will you do it when God asks us to say yes to something, there’s a way there’s already away. It’s that stepping out in obedience and stepping out in faith. There have been so many confirmations that you made the right choice throughout P2P, right? Ellie, like what were those breakthroughs? Those takeaways, those God winks that you got through the program
(10:58):
So many, but I’ll give you the most powerful number one was getting confirmation that my message is needed and it’s wanted, and it’s the style. And that is powerful. That, that floor to me, because it wasn’t the case in my community around me. I just kept hearing opposition. But when I came to P2P, it was totally different atmosphere and that just boosted my faith in incredible ways.
Another way I walked out with a complete outline for my passive income course, which is what I totally wanted to do. That was just, is amazing. Now it’s, it’s here and I’m just working on it now and who, there’s another one that I had in mind, but
(11:45):
Just went, did you rank?
(11:49):
Yes. Oh, Mike. Okay. This is incredible. I had no following, no audience, nothing not okay. If you look at my Instagram or anything like that, have nothing to show for it, but I ranked number one in the parenting and kids and family category in beliefs. No idea why, but glory be to God. And exactly why SEL
(12:19):
And a little bit of God’s help. You know what I’m saying?
(12:21):
For sure. SEO, for sure. And then also number 38 in Japan, which I love that country. I love the people there and that was just definitely a God wink.
(12:35):
That is so incredible to rank number one in a country in which you have no followers, no promotion strategy whatsoever. And you start to rank not just top 200, not just top 100, but number one and number 35. To me that is a absolute testimony to you saying yes to yourself.
God’s hand upon this process for you and then putting in the tacticals, the SEO, the keywords, the titling that we did, the visibility strategies, all of that stuff paired together, created a huge breakthrough. And the next thing is your passive course. So I can’t wait to see what the rest of this year looks like for you. Yes, I’m so excited. Thank you. Thanks for sharing Ellie. All right, next up. We have Angie, Angie, tell us a little bit about your podcast.
(13:29):
Hi guys. I’m Angie, Tony Rogers. And my podcast is called holy made life. That’s w H O L L Y made life. And I help success driven women create and rediscover balance in all areas of their life, through working on boundaries, accountability, leadership mindset, so that we can restore her whole life wholly made.
(13:51):
I love that so much. Tell me about the fears, the limiting beliefs, maybe all the things going through your head before you invested.
(14:00):
Okay. Well, I was in a very unique season when I invested in this and I had actually just resigned my chief nursing officer position. And so I was already taking a huge leap of faith and doing what God had called me to. He had called me out saying that he had something more, something bigger, something better, and I needed to take a leap of faith.
So then came you and this program and I started with the podcast pro university and then decided to jump all the way in to the mastermind because I was reminded that I needed that accountability. It was the first time I hadn’t had accountability through way of work people, my team, depending on me. I knew that I was going to need that accountability. I also prayed a lot about it. Quickly Joshua one, Joshua one nine was a scripture that reminded me, have I not commanded you be strong and courageous, don’t be afraid, do not be discouraged.
And the Lord, your God will be with you wherever you go. So as I was praying about this mastermind I was just led to be courageous, be bold and step out and take that further leap of faith and invest in this program because he, he was calling me to do the podcast and to be part of this group. So,
(15:25):
nd it wouldn’t have been the same without you. So I’m so grateful that you took that huge leap of faith both investment wise and, you know, leaving your job to really pursue what God is calling for you. That’s crazy. And I’m so here for that. So talk to me about the breakthroughs, you know, what happened during the program for you?
(15:46):
Okay. Yeah, I actually doubled my average episode downloads. So I had just started my podcast right before this mastermind started and I had a certain number of downloads per episode, and that has completely doubled. It’s looking like it’s surpassing that a little bit. And then also my super fan number also doubled since being in this mastermind.
So I know that the keywords and the SEO and then the additional breakthroughs that I had with the pod sisters, just, you know, holy spirit really moves in this program through stuff and through all of my pod sisters. And so there were a lot of confirmations there. And then finally the accountability, you know, nobody wants to come to the day of assignment when that’s due and not have everything ready. So we were just pushed to get everything ready.
And through that came kind of a download of what my six week group coaching program and course is going to be. The holy spirit really came up with this what I call the big idea framework. And so that was part of the assignment, trying to come up with the course that I’m going to offer through the podcast. So that’s awesome. I’m still working on it, but the, the idea and framework it’s there,
(17:06):
It’s so good. And I think that’s one of the biggest differences between this program and other programs is that huge level of accountability, right? Angie, you have training, then you have to show up with your homework because you have breakout coaching the next week. Then you have office hours, you have your pod breakouts with people.
So like the support is so imminent, but what it really does is make you work. You know, it makes me go up for the homework. So good. Well, thank you so much for sharing. We’re going to go to last but not least Christie, who is going to share a little bit about her podcast.
(17:42):
Hi, Stef, thanks for having me on here. My podcast is simplicity for solopreneurs and I am helping a solo preneurs to get rid of the overwhelm, get out from under it, by getting really productive and focused in their businesses.
(18:02):
I love that. And do you guys notice how everybody has a specific answer to this question? Right. They know what their podcast is. They know who it’s for. Oh. Music to my ears. So Christie, what were all the fears or concerns, you know, thoughts you had about joining podcasts for profits?
(18:21):
Well I knew I wanted to join and I have to be honest as well. Whenever I have wanted to join a lot of programs before, and the second I take a look at the price, it was like, I can’t do that. And so, you know, the same, the same happened with you, but I guess what was different is that God didn’t let me say no.
He kept bugging me and kept pushing me to visit with my husband and just pour out my heart and my dreams. And, you know, I, I have a wonderful, very supportive husband. He asks a lot of questions, you know? Okay, exactly. What is this? But like I say, in the end, he said, yes, God, this time didn’t let me pass it by.
(19:13):
And you know, what’s so crazy. Christie knows this story, but I’ll share with you all. I had heard the number of 15 or 16 about this program. Like there are 16 women that are meant to be in this round and we have 15 and it was like the last day, right. Christie, we had closed it down. We’re done. I’m like, well, I don’t know.
Maybe I heard wrong. I don’t know. And knock, knock, knock in the DMS comes Christie. And she’s like staff, I’m a day late. Is there room for me? And I said, girl, God spoke that there was 16. We’ve been waiting for you. And it was just so magical to see him make it on that promise. And that Christy was that gift number 16.
(19:54):
Yes, it definitely was because I was freaking out. I mean, it was literally bless for Nico’s heart. It was the night before that the program was starting the next morning.
(20:07):
So good. Well, wouldn’t have been the same without you. So talk to me about, was it worth it, what breakthroughs happened for you?
(20:14):
It was definitely worth it. Unfortunately I have spent a lot of money on the wrong things over the last few years, trying to get my business going and I can without hesitation say that this is the best money I’ve ever invested. So I really have two biggest breakthroughs. I have an extreme clarity in my business vision now. I mean, I know exactly what I need to do the order I’m going to do it.
Like I say, I’ve been following all the experts before now and jumping from one best thing to the next. And it is so freeing to know that I do not have to do that anymore. I have my specific roadmap and that just feels amazing. So, and and then also it is, it is also amazing how much confidence I finally have in myself. And that is just absolutely huge because I was constantly second guessing myself. I was doubting my abilities, but now I finally know that I’m doing what I was meant to do.
And just like some of the others have said the accountability aspect of P2P, it has just pushed me to do so many big, scary things that I am so proud of. And just my whole outlook has changed. It’s been amazing. So I owe a lot to you Stef and for God for putting me there,
(21:42):
Oh man, I love hearing this. How priceless is it to know what you do, who you serve the framework to get you a evergreen business full of solutions to have the passive product launch out, you know, how to launch it and all the while almost be forced into doing the work, right? Like how long would it take to do all of those little pieces, if you’re on your own versus having this 90 day structure where you’re almost not allowed to fail? Like Alicia had said, you’re not allowed to hide.
(22:16):
I don’t know that I would have gotten there to be honest. I needed this course. Someone else said that the podcast, your sisters, that you come out, your pod sisters.
They’re just, it’s amazing to me that even though my coaching with you will end at least for now. I still have those sisters. We are planning on continuing on together. So I’m still going to have a support group that has been through the same experiences and we’re all kind of, you know, have the same mindset. So that is huge in and of itself.
(23:00):
Seriously. I think some of the best feedback that I get from this course time after time. Yes, the training is great. Yes. Your podcasts, all, you know, rank and grow and downloads, explode, and super fans grow, and you have courses mapped out or coaching offers, or you have all of this tactical success. But one of my favorite things that people tell me is that they found their best friends.
Like they found lifelong incredible entrepreneurs who are, like-minded founded in their faith, have a vision for where God wants them to go. And everybody’s walking the same journey. And it’s crazy too, to look at the past PGPs and see, like, those girls are still friends, they still meet on a weekly basis. So I think that is one of the coolest parts of this program
(23:48):
For, for sure. Definitely. So I’m, I’m very thankful for those ladies.
(23:54):
Thank you Christie for sharing.
(23:56):
I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you letting me to come on. I could sing your praises all day long. Thank you.
