FULL EPISODE TRANSCRIPTION:
(00:00):
Hey loves. Oh my goodness. We are a quarter of the way through 2021. Say what I know we just got done with 2020. We’re all over here. Like that was the craziest year ever. And we’re like halfway through the next year, 2021. I mean, it’s just insane time flies. If y’all have never heard the days are long, but the years are short when it comes to your babies, man, ain’t that the truth?
(00:31):
I look at pictures of them from one year ago and I’m like, they’re growing up. It’s so sad. I don’t know why I’m talking about my children right now. I must be missing them. It is the second day where they both been back in school full time after COVID. Now I don’t know what to do with myself. You guys, I man, I had breakfast, cook myself breakfast. I did my nails.
(00:57):
I pluck my eyebrows, shaved my beer. No, maybe. And I’m like, I’m going to record an episode. This is crazy. I’m going to be so productive next year. If all our children are back in school, God-willing, let’s just see how it goes. Anyway. Today I digress today. We are talking about quarterly planning. We’re going to talk about what you all should be doing now that we’re a quarter through the year. You all set some goals for yourselves, right?
(01:29):
You prayed, you did intentional goal setting. It got with God over what this year is going to look like. You wrote some stuff down on the 2021 bucket list and dreamed you put it into action. You reverse engineered it and now have you even looked at it? I hope so. I’m going to talk to you guys about my process, not just on a quarterly basis, but also on a monthly basis to see if I am walking the path that God helped me create for this business and my life back in December.
(02:03):
So I think you’re going to enjoy walking this journey. I absolutely stinking love you.
(03:12):
And I cannot wait to dive deeper. I’m going to take the clarify. My calling course has I feel such a connection. I have been searching for so long for someone to help me figure out what in the world God wants me to do, because I cannot seem to get there myself. So I am so excited to be introduced to you and to get started. And Oh my gosh, I can’t wait. I am going to buy that course now, like right now, I’m going to go buy it now because I cannot wait to dive deeper with you.
(03:45):
And I just love your soul. I love your work. And I thank you so much. God is truly gifted. You. I can hear it. I can hear it when you speak to other people. And I just think it’s amazing. And if we all stepped into our kingdom gifts, the way you have stepped into yours, what a difference it would make in the world. Thank you so much for all that you do. And I will continue to listen. I love you so much.
(04:09):
Well, I love you back Danielle Mullins. And if you guys are like Danielle and you’re going, I need clarity on my calling. What is my purpose? What is my thing? How do I use my gifts for God’s glory? I want to invite you to join her and clarify your calling course. You can head to clarify your calling course.com. Check it out. It is 30 days, full immersion, passive course, taking you through identity in Christ, uncovering your giftings, your strengths.
(04:39):
All the trials that have been preparing you to turn them into a testimony and how the valleys are going to mold you so that you can begin to walk the mountains in your life. You begin to walk in your purpose and it’s not just all of that. It’s a lot of tactical. You walk away with a title, tagline description, content, all the pieces that are going to allow you to take what you think you should be doing and turn it into an actual plan of action.
(05:06):
Whether it be in a podcast, a blog, whatever you’re going to do with it. That’s what you walk away from. Clarify your calling with, take that calling that you feel in your heart and make it into something sticky and actionable. Woo. I can’t wait for you girl. There is no reason to sit in indecision for one more minute. Clarify your calling course.com. Okay. Let’s talk about planning back in December. If y’all remember.
(05:32):
I got with my girlfriend, my home girl, Chelsi Jo Moore, down in the a Z. And we together hung out. We watched the dreamer summit with our other friend Polly Pane, which we were both speakers at her event. And we got together and we just planned our little hearts out. We put together our business goals for 2021 ourself or physical, personal goals, our family goals, our marriage goals and everything in between.
(06:00):
And we wrote those things out. And we started with big picture goals, which we then backed into quarterly and monthly planning. We even went as far as to dig into what the action items would be like, AKA, what programs, courses, launches affiliation, whatever that we needed to do in order to have these goals become a reality. Now we didn’t just Willy nilly. These goals.
(06:25):
We base them off of number one. What, how God has positioned us because we, and I completely understand and realize that goals that are not from him are goals of the world and I’m not. And I’m not about that. Okay? So I got put it through my God filter father helped me prepare a plan for this. That is blessed and ordained by you. That is me just walking out the plan and purpose you have for me.
(06:54):
You wait and listen and you create what you think it is. And you pray over that. And then you’re open because you never know what’s going to happen in that year. I never tie my worth or worthiness anymore. Thank goodness to achievement of a goal goals to me are just something to keep me moving forward and to keep me striving towards furthering his kingdom, his glory, and a part of that glory is the work that he’s asked me to do, right?
(07:24):
It’s this show. It is the courses at CYC it’s, PPU, it’s P2P, it’s stewarding all of you. It’s the coaching. And also have you and the team to support me so that I can be a good mom and a good wife and take care of my health and all the other things that we’re called to do, be a good daughter, be a good friend.
(07:43):
And so you got to take off that into consideration when planning goals, it’s not just, Oh, eenie, meenie, miney, Mo. I want to be a millionaire. Okay, well, if God has that in the cards for you and you hear that and you receive that and you know why, and it’s to steward his kingdom and give, give money and finances to support his causes and blah, blah, blah. Okay. Hey girl, get it.
(08:04):
But I think for so many of us, we have to pull that dream in partnership with Christ. So that is what I did for this year. And God gave me some really exciting dreams for 2021. He has, I have an income goal written down. I have a podcast goal written down. I have workout goals, food, freedom, goals, time with hubby goals, family goals, trips that we’re going to take debt goals, which a lot of which has already been achieved.
(08:33):
Tithing goals, goals with friendships. I mean, y’all, I got you girls got some goals, but they’re God goals. Okay. And if God says no on something, I’m just going to scratch that right off, because this is about him. So that’s the only thing I wanted to lay out there. First goals. Now, once we have that goal list written out I took the big goals and broke them into 12.
(08:54):
So what would it look like if this income goal was to happen? What would that look like on a monthly basis? So then I had a monthly income number goal that I could strive towards. Now, again, it’s just striving towards it. If it doesn’t happen, I’m super good with this. Cause God goes before me, but it’s something to help me know. Am I showing up in this business to stretch myself?
(09:20):
Okay. I also have a podcast download goal this year. God’s going to do what he will with it. And the hit, when his favor is upon your business, your life, your show, your marriage, your children, whatever you can’t stop. The flood Gates, honey, they’re going to burst when they’re going to burst, but I’m here to just stretch myself based on last year’s numbers, projections, my life, my situation, and what God is whispering into my heart.
(09:43):
And that’s what I had. So each month I’m going to go through and I’m going to write the goal for the month. This is basically me reverse engineering, a big audacious annual goal into a bite sized chunk. Do I hit these goals every month? Definitely not. Are there months I surpass the goals? Yes, there are. But at the, at the end of the day, it’s did I do my best with where I’m at with how I’m equipped and strive towards these goals.
(10:12):
Now these are not just business goals. It’s important friends that as you set goals in your life, you are not just paying attention to the things you’re good at. It’s so easy for us to go to the bucket in which we Excel. Are you great at motherhood? You’re going to notice all your goals have to do with motherhood
(10:31):
Because you’re like, woo sista. Got it going on. I’m a great mom. Okay.
(10:34):
Are, are you amazing at your marriage? Are you amazing at business? You’re going to notice or do you love fitness? Does it light you up girlfriend? That is amazing. You should have goals in the things you are good at and gifted in. And that also plays a big role in you walking out your purpose and call because we don’t have those giftings on accident. However, we are always called to be more than just the things we are good at, which is where the test comes in and the daily life.
(11:02):
That’s where we have to sacrifice for our incredible father and put away sometimes the things we’re good at and things we want to do for the things he is calling us to do. And those goals have to be there too. And you have to be an I, you and I, we have to be willing to sacrifice time achieving the stuff we know that we want to do for this stuff we’re called to do, even when we don’t want to do it.
(11:31):
Okay? Like this is a full picture circle situation here. Y’all remember my story of me on the paper, right after my breakdown in 2016, it started with the sheet of paper of who am I in Christ? Who does God want me to be? That has to be the foundation of any goal I set in my life. And that goal did not say business first. It did not say, be a millionaire.
(11:55):
I did not say any of that. It actually said to be a godly daughter of the King to spend time with God every single day, to focus on his word, to learn his word. Because at the time your girl knew nothing, but maybe a Jesus calling Debo, let’s just get real. I needed to know the Bible, learn the Bible, learn his word, invite him in on a daily basis. Every single morning, make that an intentional decision.
(12:22):
Then it went to my marriage. Yes. Marriage is not always the easiest. Okay. Y’all look, you’re not alone. Two human beings coming together with different upbringings and moral compass is and values and visions and goals and dreams and parenting styles and egos. And all the things in between are put together. And Holy matrimony till death do you part and okay, God’s got jokes, right? I’m supposed to have this thriving, perfect marriage all the time. No, you’re not.
(12:53):
You’re supposed to steward that marriage with all that you have with all that you are with everything that God has equipped you to be and to selflessly love and show up with the fruits of the spirit on a daily basis and love that person 1% more than you did yesterday. Okay? Like that’s what’s up and no, they’re not going to be perfect in your not going to be perfect, but we have to put that at the forefront because that’s what the Bible says.
(13:18):
And that’s the way this goes. And then the next thing on my list was to be a great intentional mother. Oh my babies, my sweet, precious baby. I love them so much. And they also drive me super crazy. And I’m sure you feel the same way. But the one thing I know for sure is the years I have with them to set them on the right path, to teach them the truth about this world and God and the things they’re going to see and face and prepare them.
(13:45):
And armor them up with God’s word and Holy spirit and pray over them. And just all the things that I get to do that is not going to be forever. There will be a day that I have to set those babies free and it’s going to be the hardest transition I’ve ever had to face in my whole life, but I can do it because I’m taking the time now to teach them his ways and his word and his will.
(14:12):
And if I, if I don’t sacrifice the Stefanie goals, right, the, Oh, I got to get to the business because business is easy for me, ladies and whatever. The easy thing is for you. I got to sacrifice the stuff that I’m over here going well, that feels good because I’m good at it. In order to say, I prepared these kingdom role changers because I took the 30 minutes or whatever it is out of my day, my busy schedule, my to-do list to pour into them and new, exciting, and amazing ways.
(14:44):
And this is in the goals, the weekly goals, the monthly goals. Okay. And I have them written down in the planner and I’m not only analyzing this at the end of the month, like, Oh, did I do it? Did I spend time with my kids? I don’t know, check the box. No daily daily.
(15:03):
It’s on the to-do it’s the top three, the top I go yearly goals, quarterly goals, monthly goals, weekly goals, day li goals. And on a daily basis, I only get three, three things that I’m missing. Must do. Must do. And do you want to know what those three things pretty much are every single day. Number one time with God. Number one, to intentional focus time with my husband and children and the number three of my client appointments.
(15:32):
Like those are the things that have to happen pretty much every single day. The rest of it. I would love to get done priorities. I hope you enjoyed it. Okay. So the next thing on our list after husband and children to me is my home and my health. So I’m going to fit in my workout, eat my greens, take my little health smoothly love having a nice, clean, clean, tidy home, keeping up with my laundry.
(16:00):
So it doesn’t drown me that type of stuff. What’s so interesting is when you look at Stefanie prior 2016 business always came first and it was an idol and it was the detriment to so many things. And so the best part about this whole thing, my business is probably my most success [inaudible] bucket other than spending time with God, but like successful on paper. Okay.
(16:26):
However, it’s last one on the list and that’s because God’s got that. I don’t need to have it anymore. To be in control of every outcome. I just have to be obedient. And here’s what God is told me to do podcasts girl podcast and serve these women. Well, that’s it, that’s it. And I just got to come back to that, come back to those grass roots, every single, every single day.
(16:50):
All right. So that’s just some, some of the background and some of the way that I do goals, planning, planning my life. Let’s look at what did we do now? So here we are end of March. And we’re looking at the past quarter early April and we’re looking at the past 90 days. So what I like to do is take a checkup, take a temperature of my current year.
(17:17):
Am I on track to hit the different goals that I have set in my business, life, body, mindset, husband, kids, all the things, right? So basically what I’m going to do is I’m going to take the big annual goal. I’m going to break it into four and I’m going to take a little checkup. I’m going to do a little comparison goal was on the left-hand side of the paper, actual on the right hand side of the paper.
(17:46):
So for going through these goals, right, we have time with God goals, check that out. We’ve got husband goals, check that out, kid goals, check it out. Personal goals, health, wellness home goals, business goals, friendship goals, all of the things. And I have a lot of goals every year. And I think what’s super interesting about this is in the past is definitely three years, but even more so, even during my breakdown year, I’ve almost always hit every goal and it’s not because,
(18:23):
Oh, I’m just lucky or yeah, God’s hands always been on me and he, it has. And that’s great. And I’m so thankful that he’s always gone before me and laid my steps and had me on his path. But it’s also because I’m not afraid to take messy, really awkward action. Like we are not going to find the blessings by hiding out by hoping that we get a breakthrough by hoping the marriage changes.
(18:48):
We get a breakthrough by taking big audacious action, having really awkward conversations, praying, fiercely, maybe sometimes keeping our mouth shut, you know, letting go of spirits of control, jealousy, comparison, less than lack, whatever those things are and working through them and surrendering, and then doing a lot of work, getting our hands dirty. This show is not almost at half a million downloads because I’m hanging out.
(19:19):
I intentionally put out two, sometimes three episodes a week for you guys. Like I pour my soul into this show because this was the command start a podcast in October of 2018. Got it. Yes. Abba. So here for that serve these women. Well, I created CYC this year so that you guys would have it affordable answer to getting clarity on your calling. I knew I couldn’t serve everyone with a one-on-one hour, nor could everyone afford that.
(19:48):
So I made the course it’s it’s I believe it’s extraordinarily under priced. There is a payment plan for it and the women that are going through it are in my inbox, crying like this is, and that’s big, but God, but God, there was no way I thought I could create a course that will solve that problem of getting clarity. That without me actively being in someone’s brain, well, it’s not about me. It’s about him.
(20:14):
Obedience showed up for it and won’t he do it? Won’t he do it. You guys. So the point of that is you have to take big, messy, audacious, awkward action in order to achieve your God sized dreams. Those dreams planted in your heart are not there on accident, but they are ordained planned and planted there from your books in heaven, heavenly places, you have a seat in heavenly places, sweet sister and your goals and your dreams.
(20:44):
They are not flippant. They are here because has planted them in your heart. You just have to steward them. Well, boundaries, intentionality, put them in order, prioritizing them in the way that he is calling you to do so. And then you do it. You do it. It’s that easy. It’s that easy, but that hard. Are you going to do it? So on the sheet of paper I’ve got, my goal was, am I actually are, I’m just doing a temperature check.
(21:13):
Okay. I’m going through. All right. So if we look at income for example, and say that my goal, I’m just going to use an easy easy-peasy number so that we have an easy peasy example here. I’m not going to do actuals for y’all. Let’s say the goal was okay. 10,000. That was the actual or the projected 30 day goal. Great. Well, on the right hand side of the paper, let’s say that my actual is, is at 8,000.
(21:36):
Okay, great. So I’ve got a variant of two K. Now what’s the situation. So you’re going to ask yourself, you’re going to inventory what’s going on with the goal? Well, the first thing is maybe you’re going through some personal stuff. And so maybe your kids have been home the whole first quarter, then girlfriend. Boom. I am super cool with that goal. I am doing amazing.
(21:58):
I’m gonna give myself an a for effort and a move to the next goal. I’m also going to ask myself, is there a way to make up this variance later in the year? Can I plan something into Q2 to get me this difference to make it up? A flash sale? Grab another client? Can you sell some more of your products? Can you blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Okay. Can you get some help in your home so that you have more time to work the business?
(22:22):
So once I’ve done that inventory, I’m gonna go the next line item. Now let’s say that your number was way higher than what you had in your left hand column, the projected or the goal. You probably need to readjust because at Q1 of 2021, you have a long road ahead. And if you’re already surpassing your goals, you probably sold yourself a bit short in your planning process.
(22:49):
So if I was surpassing my goal by quite, I mean, a few thousand, at least I would bump up my goal for myself. Cause I’m not like I’m not here to hang out, sit pretty, make this easy peasy, lemon squeezy. I’m like, I got to push because I have been called to make an impact for God’s kingdom financially. Yes. Time. Yes. Reach as many of you as I can. Yes. And so if I just go, well hit the goal early I’m out, which I tried to do last year and I got called out on it, which I’m so thankful for.
(23:24):
I tried to go, I’m just gonna, I’m just gonna bow out. And October hit all the goals. I’m good. But that would have been selfish of me cause I had more work to do. And I have to say November and December where some of the most incredible months of, and January of my entire life and it would, it would not have happened if I hadn’t readjusted the goal right there and actually Q3 Q4 of last year.
(23:46):
So if you’re above adjust the goal, just bump it, bump it up. Okay. Next one. Let’s say that you had a fitness goal and I don’t like numbers for fitness goals. You have to go. This is me after doing lots and lots of intuitive eating freedom, food, freedom, coaching, Jessica, if you guys want to check her out, she is at fuel her awesome podcast. She’s amazing. My friend mentoring food coach.
(24:12):
Anyway. So I have goals that have to do with health goals, right? So my 90 day goal was to find freedom from food. I just didn’t want to think about it anymore. I’m done. I want to have the pizza. I’m going to have the pizza. I want to be healthy, excited, energetic. I have to run this massive business. Have to keep up with two little boys who are super hyper, okay. A spouse.
(24:37):
We like to mountain bike. Keep up with the home. I get up at five 30 to spend time with God like your girl’s got a lot going on. Need energy and to be focused. I can not have brain fog. Need to have some semblance of a memory, to be proactive, focused and intentional. So in order to not be burnt out in order to get all the things done that God has called me to get done.
(25:02):
And so that’s what my goal said. And so what does that mean though? You have to break that down into something tangible and sticky. So I broke that down. Well, Jess and I did into goals. So six veggies a day, two fruits, a day, four proteins a day, three fats a day, one grain a day in one fund food, basically. So I’m going through and as I eat, I just check my bubbles working out four days a week.
(25:25):
Yep. Got it. How is that looking? How is that looking? So when I look at the goal, I would say, have I achieved that goal by doing these tactical things? And when I look at the right side of my paper, that answer is yes, I actually have, I have stuck 90% to the food goals I had. I have hit my four days a week for 17 weeks in a row.
(25:46):
Now, whoop, I’d done it. Check that box. That goal is going to roll straight over because that goal has not changed for me. Now, this is a great time also to reevaluate well is my goal is still the same for Q2 based on what I want for the whole year. Right. And you’re just going to go line item by line item, goal by goal. This might take you a few hours.
(26:09):
It is so worth it. It is so worth it. And you’re going to ask yourself, is that goal the same in order for me to achieve the end of the year? That goal for me is still the same. I don’t have any new goals. I don’t need a six pack. Okay. I don’t need, I, I, my body is super cool where it’s at. I’m happy. I’m energetic. I love it. My blood pressure’s looking good.
(26:31):
Husband thinks I’m sexy. We’re good to go. Okay. So I’m just going to move that goal straight over same goal. Got it. All right. The next one, let’s say that you had a goal spiritually to wake up at six o’clock every morning, four days a week and spend time with God has that working for you. Have you done it? And that’s why we have to track our daily habits every day.
(26:57):
How do you know unless you’re tracking this stuff, you guys, and right here in my Horacio planning, shout out poly pain. I have my weekly intentions right on my planner for the week. Checkboxes morning routine workout, health shake, bubbles time with my kids, water time with my husband, write prayer, all the things so I can check the box and I can actually go through an inventory on a weekly basis. That then goes into my monthly plan.
(27:25):
That, and that is what makes my quarterly review. So easy. So easy. You guys. So then I’m going to say, okay, did I do that thing for these three months? Give yourself a rating where you’re 50% there, 60% there, 100% there urinate. And then on the right side of the column, what was your actual what’d you do? Right? And then you can analyze, well, why, why? And you can give yourself grace if something’s been going on in your life. It’s okay.
(27:53):
But if nothing’s been going on in your life and you’ve just been going to bed at 11, because you’re watching Netflix too late and you’ve been wasting your morning time by sleeping in, we have a problem because the goal that you set for yourself in December of 2021 was to make God a priority in your life again. And instead of doing it, you’ve exchanged the Bible for TB.
(28:16):
And I think that we have a massive problem in our society right now with exchanging social media for Bible time, prayer and exchange normalize, and what everybody’s doing this stuff. Well, ladies, you are not everybody else. You are not everyone else. You are not your neighbor, your friend, your mom, your sister, you argue and you sweet sweet friend or a daughter of the King.
(28:42):
And in order to receive your full inheritance, which we all have, which is amazing. I’m so here to learn and grow and to become better and better every day so that I can walk in his light and be the light that he’s asking me to be. But that means making some really stink, stinky, stinky, stinky sacrifices. Sometimes it’s hard to go to bed an hour and a half earlier than my husband, because he’s watching Netflix. I’m like, love you.
(29:11):
Bye. I got to get up at five 30. I, you know, I made this promise to myself. I’m going to do it. Love you, goodnight. It, it stinks when I stop at one glass of wine when everyone else has six, because well, I have boundaries and I’m not going to do that. And it just doesn’t feel right in my heart. And that’s my goal, right? Like, so my goals are mine. No one else has to have my goals.
(29:38):
They can do their own thing, but that means sometimes you’re walking away from what the world says is, is normal. And you’re abnormal. We are abnormal in the goals that we’ll set because we are doing abnormal things. Did you hear me? Let me say that again. Louder for the girls in the back. Thank you. Holy spirit. We, our goals are abnormal because we are doing abnormal things here on earth.
(30:09):
Do you want to be abnormal? To wake up before everyone else to spend time in the word? Do you want to feel fit, excited, and energetic and stop obsessing about food in order to play the long game? Do you want to have a marriage that is thriving because you know when to shut your mouth and fruits of the spirit, fruit of the spirit, right? Girls. Okay.
(30:32):
Do you want to pray for your spouse even when you’re frustrated with him because you are taking a stand for you, right? Marriage, do you want to be the difference? If you want to be the difference? Not just in your home, but in world, we have to be abnormal. So our goals are abnormal. Our behavior will become abnormal. What do you mean? You’re going to bed. You’re a weird, yup. I’m super here for that.
(30:57):
No one, none of Jesus disciples were super normal. Okay. We are, they were weird. We are weird because we are chosen. So you’re going to have to make the hard decisions. If you look at this sheet of paper and the right side of the column is high off. Why ask yourself? Why honest with yourself about the things you need to change, regardless, lists of what other people say, regardless of what you think your, your hubby’s going to think about you.
(31:29):
Regardless, you’re going to have to make hard decisions, choices, and behavior shifts that is going to be abnormal. And that’s just it. Okay. I got off there, but I, I just, it’s so important that we are not normalizing behavior, that steals from our God-sized goals and our God-sized dreams. And I will tell you all you guys know social media is the number one for us, all of us in our thirties, with all the kids in the home businesses that we’re building online, social media is one of the number one stealers of your life.
(32:04):
It is robbing. You robbing you of your time, your goals, your intentionality, your profit. Yeah. It’s not building a business for you. It’s stealing from you. So you have to get gangster actually recommend. One of my first goals of last year in 2020 was to delete the apps every single weekend, which I still do still on the goal list. Every single weekend. And now this year I actually expanded it.
(32:31):
And I honestly delete it multiple times a week as well. Well, because it’s addicting and it steals for me and no one, nothing. And no one of this earth is going to steal from me. Not today. Satan, I am in control of my life, my dreams, my goals, my God’s side sized dream, his dream for my life. So as you go down that list, tough love herself, girlfriend, where are you at?
(32:55):
What needs to change? Do you need to bump up the goal? If not what happened? It’s okay. Love yourself. Forgive yourself. Move on. Okay. And then adjust. Pray over the goals again. Every month you got pray over the goals again, did is any of this different, anything you need me to add? Holy spirit, put this in order for me so that I know what to intentionally focus on.
(33:16):
So after that quarterly analysis is done, I can then put a temperature gauge on the end of the year. Do I look like that? Stuff is still in check. Does anything need to be changed or adjusted? Yanay if not moving over the goals again for Q2 and then plugging them into my monthly planner, breaking them in, divided by three, pop it into the planner. Okay. This is it. I’ve been doing this for this for nine years.
(33:42):
Years always has worked, always will work because what we write down, what we focus on grows, and then what we intentionally choose to focus on each day will get done. It that it’s that simple. What are you intentionally focusing on in your daily life? And I saw a quote that I shared on Instagram yesterday. I want to read it to you guys. It’s so good.
(34:20):
It says, this is by Corey Asbury. I want to reach for God the way I reach for my phone when I’m bored, when I’m uncomfortable, when I need answers or entertainment, when I’m lonely, I need someone to talk to. I want to reach for God the way I reach her mind, phone sister, are you reaching for God and your God goals? The way that you read it for your phone and social media, this is not to condemn anyone just with an open mind are, do a heart check.
(34:48):
Are you reaching for the buckets of your life? That aren’t easy for you, even though, you know, important to a heart check. Father revealed to me, reveal to us, where are we weak? Where do you want us to focus? Where do you need us to lay down the idols, the distractions? What do you need to bring to light? So we see eyes to see and ears to hear the truth of the things that are stealing from us.
(35:14):
Our time, our focus, our parenting, our marriages, our businesses, our finances, our bodies, our mindset. What is stealing from us that we need to see fresh eyes, fresh revelation so that we can lay it down. What goals do you have for us that we were afraid to write down, bring it to the front of our minds here and now, Holy spirit, come let us write those things down, sisters.
(35:45):
They’re not there on accident. They’re there on purpose because you have a purpose and it’s your responsibility to walk it out in faith, big faith, God sized confidence. We can borrow our confidence from the Holy spirit because he’s with us, open your mouth and he shall fill it. And one of the goals that we are afraid to achieve or afraid to put down the real number, the real goal, and we’re hiding behind the things that are comfortable, reveal that to us.
(36:16):
Father show us our worth, show us our potential, show us our purpose and then push us forward. Push us. We give you permission. Yes. And amen girls. Yes. And amen. We give you permission father to help us pursue the goals you have for us, because we know your plans are better, bigger, more fruitful, more incredible than ours could ever be. And we ask you to step in and intervene on our behalf and forgive us for taking control of the goals before this time and not allowing you to craft the goals and dreams because you know, you know, we trust you.
(36:59):
We love you. We have faith in you in Jesus name. Amen. Girls. Let me know how this goal review goes. If you haven’t done any goals for 2021, it is not too late. We’re barely getting started, go through. And I want you to write down goals in each area. God, God goals time at the father morning routines, marriage. And if you’re not married yet, I want you to spend time praying for your future husband.
(37:27):
Number three, your children, if you don’t have children yet, that’s okay. If you’re not going to have children, that’s okay. Do you know someone else’s children you can pray for? Right? But what are the goals in your motherhood for your kids time with your kids intentional time with no phone in your hand, in your, in the room boundaries. What are your goals in the boundaries segment? What are your goals for your health, for your home?
(37:54):
What are the goals for your business? Your finances, your friendships at anything else it’s worth this exercise. It’s worth this exercise. Monthly. If you asked me, it’s basically doing an inventory and a heart check every single month to see if you are in line with what God has in store for you. I love you, girl. I’ll see you back here real soon. God bless love and light.
