I am so here for this conversation with you. There were 5 specific things that I wrote down that helped me become known for what I do and I am sharing them with you, today.

Hey, friends! Happy Tuesday! Today, I am answering this awesome quick tip Tuesday question from my girl, Erika Diaz-Castro. And it’s so interesting.
The question that she asks, because as she asks the question, I was like, huh?

And so I’m super excited to dig into this with y’all because Erika’s question is so good and it really relates to how to get known as the person, get known for the thing inside of your niche or online business.
And she says, I’ve done just that, which I’m so here for that.

So I’ve written down for you guys, five steps of how I’ve apparently got known for the thing that I do and how you can do the exact same thing. Let’s do this!

You’re the person that comes to mind when I think about podcasting and I wondered what it takes to get there.

What did it take for you to become this person who’s really known for that thing? What should you be focusing on? Are there any things you be saying no to? And what did that journey look like?
When did you know, or do you even know that you are that girl? I look forward to your response. I thank you for all that you do, and I’m just so grateful for you.

What’s up, Erika? Girl, I just love you. You’re just the best. And thank you for this.
I have been hearing confirmation after confirmation that the thing that I really do super well is help you guys start these podcasts and do it in a way that helps you grow an organic business.
(03:35):
The easy way without the hustle, without the grind on social, without battling algorithms or having to do ad spend.
Truly just being able to show up behind a mic, be your authentic selves and pour into the people that you have been called to serve.
(03:47):
And that this works for all of you, no matter what you do. And just hearing that from you, it just blesses me so much because that is exactly the kind of confirmation that I want for all of you.
I want you guys to start hearing from your avatars, your Lolas, Hey, I know you are the person that does blank.

Like how can I work with you or, Hey, I know you’re the one that helps me with this problem. I just need your answers. I trust you. And so that is what I want for all of you.

And as I sat and listened to Erika leave me this question, I really came up with five things that I have done in the past four years of doing this specific brand.
And my podcast to help me get known for the thing that I offer inside of my niche so that you guys can do it too.

So let’s go through those five things today. You’re definitely gonna want a notebook and pen for this one. It’s very tactical.
(04:47):
So number one, step one, Erika is to have absolute clarity on the number one person you serve. Have absolute clarity on the person you serve. Have you guys ever heard of the rule of one?

It simply means that you’re building a business based on one person. I know this is the hardest thing ever, but it is the most necessary thing you will ever do in your business.
And you guys, if you would ask my Podcast to Profit girls right now, exactly what we’re doing for two whole weeks is figuring out the number one only person and that we serve.
(05:23):
I have these girls doing market research. They are doing some crazy stuff. They’re going through these awesome templates that I’ve built out for them to really figure out this data.
(05:32):
So if you’re like, oh my gosh, I have no idea who I serve, go to CYC clarifyyourcallingcourse.com. That’s a great place to start to really get that clarity on who am I serving.
And if you’ve already done all that work and you’re still wanting to do a deeper dive, until you have this down, you will not get known in your niche.

If you’re talking to two people, three people, you’re gonna get stuck, you’re diluting your messaging. So that is an absolute must.
(06:00):
Number two, you have to know the number one problem that you solve. If you guys wanna get known for the thing inside of the niche, you have to know the problem that you solve.
And this is another big mistake that I see online entrepreneurs make is they say, I could solve this, or I could solve that.
(06:20):
Sure. We can all solve a million things. I can talk to you guys about balance and schedules and productivity and launching a podcast and my morning routine.
(06:32):
But the point is they all have one core common denominator in every single piece of content that I create and it’s to solve your number one problem, which is what?
Get clear on your calling so you can start and scale an online business. Period. End of story.
(06:50):
Every single thing that comes out of my mouth is to help you get that done. Now, if you don’t have that TSO, that tactical specific outline, you’re gonna need it. You are going to need that.
Again, and this stuff is all from my CYC course, guys.

And we go much deeper into this in P2P as well, because after you’ve done the first round and launched your pod.
We really have to do it again, to be honest, cuz you know, more, you have more data, you have more people to poll.
(07:19):
You have more super fans. You have kind of done the work to launch the stuff and now we have to optimize. So this work never ends by the way.
(07:27):
You’re never done figuring out who your person is and the problem you solve, you’re going to fine-tune this. You’re going to come back to this and you’re gonna revise it.
(07:37):
Number or three. I picked my platform. You have to pick your platform. You cannot be everywhere and get known for your thing and your niche. I’m sorry, I believe that more is less.
I believe that less is more. I believe that picking your platform allows you to rise in a smaller pond of specific fish that really are looking for you.
(08:03):
So I picked podcasting. I have a podcast and I have a Facebook group. That’s it. Yes, I have some other platforms and my team shares my episodes there, but that is literally it where I actually show up.
90% of the time is my podcast. 10% of the time is my Facebook group. Everything else is the team is managing it or it’s a tiny touch or it’s simply a share, that’s it.
(08:30):
You gotta pick your platform. And then number four, you have to say no to shiny objects.
So the worst thing you can do is if you wanna get known for your thing, you wanna be the expert inside of a micro-niche. You wanna get known for the thing that you offer. You cannot jump around.
(08:47):
You cannot jump from I’m an Instagram expert to I’m a Facebook expert to I’m a purpose dream expert to I’m a time blocking expert. Oh no, I do sleep now, sleep training for babies.
Stop it. Jumping all over the place is doing absolutely nothing.
(09:03):
You have got to do the work to figure out what the call actually is because we will never get the call right when we are leading from our flesh, we have to partner with God in this journey.
We have to step up spirit forward and we have to follow God’s lead.
(09:22):
He will lead you directly to the thing, but you have to get outta the way. The enemy wants to distract you with all the other ideas and options and really cool things that Mary’s cousin Nancy’s friend Joe is doing.
And then, oh, I should try that because I heard that so and so made 20K on TikTok last month.
(09:43):
That’s just not gonna work, I’m telling you. If overnight success was really a thing, everyone would do it. If quick money was really attainable, everyone would have it.
(09:56):
So, stop buying into these worldly lies around, doing more about hustle, about jumping from platform to platform around oh, I’m gonna pick that. Just say no to shiny objects.
(10:12):
And the last one, number five, is one of the most important, I mean, these are all super important, but this one you cannot be the expert, the person, if you are not willing to do this one.
Number five is you’ve got to commit with insane levels of discipline for 12 to 24 months.
(10:35):
Commit to what, Stef? Commit to your one person and solving the one thing inside the one platform that is it.
Then, do that with all of your heart and soul for 12 to 24 months saying no to shiny objects saying no to other platforms.
(10:53):
Also, you pour in with everything that you have and you have great content, you have great energy.
And your message is on point because you’ve taken CYC and PPU. You know what you’re doing, you know the hows.
(11:06):
So the hows are not an excuse anymore, because the hows are in the courses, guys.
It’s not about the how, it’s about your dedication, your motivation, your heart, your spirit, and also the way you show up for the people you serve.
(11:19):
And if you do that, I will tell you something. This has not just happened to me, and so I am not the only one that’s known in my niche for the thing that I do.
I have many students who have attained that now. And so, guess what those students all have in common? Ding, ding, these five things.

Quick recap. How to get known for your thing inside of your specific niche. One, you have absolute clarity on the person you serve.
Two, you know the number one problem you solve. Three, you’ve picked your one platform and you married it.
(11:52):
Number four, you say no to all shiny objects, all overnight success stuff, all hustle harder that is all just a bunch of worldly lies. Don’t get tricked, because you are too smart for that.

Number five, commit and go so hard on that discipline for 12 to 24 months and you show up for this as you’ve never shown up for something in your entire life.
You will get known for your thing in your niche. So, I can’t wait to see you become the expert inside of your thing.

It’s so much easier than video. It’s a million times better than social. Plus, you own it. And it’s still like a first movers advantage.
It’s legit guys, because people give up on podcasting and it’s the one amazing sustainable place where you can show up and shine within a year to two.

Therefore, you just gotta do the work and you will have results. And the other really cool thing about podcasting is that it is so easy to monetize a podcast. Some of my students are making upward of multi six-figure.
Seriously, I even have a seven-figure earner who uses her podcast and monetized it just the way that I taught her. And so it is not impossible to have whatever you want.

A thousand dollars a month business from your show, a 10K a month business from your show, whatever God has in store for you.
