Hey friend, today, we are going to talk about five reasons that you are not making any sales. These are really the reasons that people don’t buy. So five reasons that people are not buying and, or your not selling.
And I know that this is going to help you have some insight into what you can tweak, how you can modify things you can change in order to really optimize that profit. I know you’re going to love this one. You’re for sure. Going to need a notebook and pen. So get ready.

In my business. I had an 11 K launch with the signature program, Stef and I created and was able to grow my Facebook group from 500 to 3000 members. Alison Shoals from social media for mompreneurs says in a matter of months, my downloads increased by 75%.

I also booked for one-on-one coaching sessions. In a matter of two days, guys, this is all the results coming out of P2P. Angela Barnard set from the intentional mind podcast says my podcast grew 60% and ranked in six different countries.
I launched my first group program while on P2P and it sold out my second program sold at 50% before I even announced it publicly and last but not least Ellie Conklin from the English mama podcast says while I was going through P2P, my podcast downloads multiplied by eight.
It ranked number one in its category and amongst all podcasts and beliefs. It also ranked number 38 in Japan. And by the way, Ellie had her second baby three days prior to starting P2P. So she went through with a newborn in her arms. You guys, if all of those amazing women can have massive results in this program.

We’re going to be talking, talking about five reasons that people don’t buy, because when we understand why people aren’t buying, we can come back with strategy and a tool kit to help them get over that hump. So, number one, the first reason that someone is not buying is because you are not confident in what you’re selling and it shows, yes, this is so true. Y’all how many of you you’re podcasting.
Here you go. Or you’re blogging or you’re on your Instagram stories. And all of a sudden you got to sell the things, right? You got to sell the oils, you got to sell the coaching. You have to sell the upcoming course and you get really quiet. Or maybe you just get really awkward and you change your voice. I don’t know what you do, but let me tell you, when you stopping yourself, people get squeamish.
(07:38):
They’re like, why are you acting strange? You must be going to sell me something I’m out of here. Right? Number one is you are not confident in what you are selling and it shows, I want you guys all for a moment to just remember that, whatever it is that you’ve created, you have created it because it solves their problem, right?
So we have to start to take pride in the things that we market. We have to be so excited about it because we know without a shadow of a doubt that it’s going to change their life. When they say yes, you have to actually get louder, more confident, more excited, right?
If you didn’t hear me sell P2P in the beginning of this episode, go rewind this episode and listen. That is an example of how to properly sell something with excitement and conviction and being specific about the outcome and what’s inside and getting people to take action.
(08:36):
That’s exactly what I did in the beginning of this episode. And so that’s what you need to strive towards and practice. It’s not easy. It’s not natural, but it is necessary. If you all are going to make your show, your business model, like I teach you, you’ve got to get confident in what you are selling. Okay. So more on that in a minute.
So number two, the second reason people don’t buy, you’re not selling often enough. I’ve been, you know, a victim to this one myself, the other month. It was probably three or four months ago. Someone’s like staff, do you do coaching? I’m like, how on actual earth do people not know what I offer? Cause I feel like I talk about the courses and the coaching and there’s coaching on the air. But the thing is, what we forget is that people are egocentric.
(09:26):
It’s all about what is in it for me. And so when we come from a sales perspective and focus on why it’s about us or why our program is the best thing on planet earth, or we only do it once a month, that person is not going to remember your program, right? They have a million other things on their mind. They’re hyper distracted. They’re on their phones. The kids are talking to them, whatever.
So you’ve got to sell almost every single time you show up for free. Now it doesn’t need to be insane. It doesn’t need to be a hard pitch, but it needs to be a casual mention at the least. Because if your podcast is the funnel and that’s the free value, that’s the solution. What is the implementation for them? Right. People are sitting there with their hands, open going, I’m ready.
(10:16):
Like I’m ready for the next thing. And if we don’t tell them that thing is, they’re going to go shop at somewhere else. So you need to be selling every time. So the reason that people probably aren’t buying your stuff is you’re not actually selling often enough. All right. Number three, your pitch isn’t clear or you’re not making it about them. So maybe you are confident. Maybe you are selling often, but maybe it’s not clear.
You’re, you’re S you know, scrutiny around the Bush, beating around the beaten around the Bush. You’re using a lot of emotional verbiage. You’re not being tactical and specific with what they walk away with. You are not making them feel something. When you, when you talk about your program or your experience.
So your pitch has to be extraordinarily clear. I’ve heard pitches. I’ll just give you guys an example of a pitch that would not be highly converting. Okay. So I’m going to sell you a podcast to prop up podcast diversity right now.
Okay. So guys, I have podcast pro university, and it’s a course. That’s gonna help you start a podcast. You’re gonna love it. It’s really fun. Starting a podcast is just really cool. You’ll be able to use your voice for impact. And you know, I teach you lots of cool stuff in there. I think you’re going to love it. It’s really affordable as well. So if you’ve ever thought of starting a show go to, PPU go to Podcast Pro University, no guys, so many things wrong with that, right?
Like my voice got weird. I got floaty with my, with my inflection. I got really emotional and vague. So I was like, if you feel this way, and then it’ll be like really fun. Nobody cares. If it’s going to be fun, they’re like, give me results. So it was way too fluffy. It was way too floaty at my voice changed. And then I CA I trailed off at the end and I didn’t even tell you how to buy it. Right.
So all of those are hard. No, that pitch would not be converting. Let me give you another example of a highly converting pitch for podcast pro university. Hey girl, I know you’re sick of trying to scale a business on social media, tired of being on Instagram reels, 24 7, just to get views that don’t convert.

I know you’re sick of hopping to the newest platform, Tik TOK, and then Twitter, and then the newest thing, and then a clubhouse. And then, and then, and then what if you could just stay on one platform forever and it wasn’t even social. It was just you by yourself, behind a microphone in your PJ’s braless and flawless makeup lists, whatever makes you happy. Okay? Surrounded by coffee and kombucha and all the things that bring you joy.
And you just got to bless people with your voice. I’m talking about starting a podcast. If you want to grow an evergreen audience by showing up once a week, simple, easy, fun, super low overhead. And you don’t even have to be on video. Then podcasting is the answer. Podcasting is how I have scaled a multi six figure business in just three short years, all from right here, talking to you just like this.
(13:29):

You feeling some type of way right now, did that help you to have a vision of what this course is? Did I emotionally connect with you on all the pain points that you’re experiencing? Did I then take you on a journey of seeing why I have the answer for you? Did I talk to you about what’s inside of the course? Did I tell you where to go?

Were you confused about what I’m selling? Did my voice change? Did my inflection change? Did I feel fluffy? No. No. And you guys, I actually just rift that to you. I had nothing written down. I just talked and now that comes with practice and that is not natural for everyone. And when you join me in podcast to profit, we go through a pitch template, a sales template, like you guys are going to have all my templates for this stuff to help you have an outline.
That’s really going to sell and scale your business and your profit. And then it’s up to you to practice long enough, hard enough, and often enough to where it becomes really comfortable for you just to riff, because the point is you want to sell from your heart, right? We want to sell in such a way that people both feel like this is the answer for them, because it should be the answer for them.
(15:14):
You guys, if what you’re selling is not the answer, answer for them, then you definitely need to join me in P2P so we can revamp your offers. You should feel so convicted that you have the solution to their number one problem. Okay? So there you go. Number four, let’s move on. We have two left. Number four.
The reason people are not buying from you is your pricing is off. Your pricing is off guys. There is such a thing as being priced too low and such a thing as being priced too high. There’s also such a thing as your specific demographic and where they’re at and your niche, who are they? What do they do for a living? What position are they in? How much is your offer actually worth to someone? So again, your pricing might be off.
And I have a specific pricing model that I teach inside of P2P to help you optimize pricing, because that should not be the hang up here out of all of these five things. This should not be the thing. This should be the easiest one to fix. All right, last but not least your sale. Number five, your sales page is unclear or it’s a little busted. Okay. Let’s just call it one.

Sorry, not sorry. Y’all first of all, grace, because I have grown an awesome business and I had a really ugly sales pages for a really long time. You
(16:38):
Know why that’s okay? Because I had all the others pieces in place. I was convicted when I sold, I had belief in my stuff. My courses and programs are fully optimized, locked, and loaded, streamlined. I believe in them with all of my heart, I could sell them without the sales page. Right? So when people went, they were truly just going to click buy. They weren’t going to research. They weren’t going to learn about the offer.
So I got away with it. But if you have any other little piece of your puzzle, that’s not optimized your sales page. It really will matter. And what’s interesting is now that I have a sales page that is beautiful and awesome and very specific in the layout. It’s highly converting. I’ve seen a 30% bump in my core sales, just from optimizing my sales pages.

You don’t have to have ads, but you don’t have to have paid workshops. You don’t have to pay for anything. You just show up and sell with your heart and you make an income. And to believe that the success and the favor and the provision is on the other side of helping other people. When we serve and we show up and we guide and we mentor and we train and we give Lord that, that is returned to us tenfold.
And that our treasure is stored in heaven, not here on earth. And you would just allow us to soak in that beautiful, beautiful knowledge that we don’t have to worry about anything of this earth, because our eyes are fixed on heaven, on you and on bringing your kingdom glory in Jesus name. Amen.
