Hey sister!
In today’s LIVE COACHING session we dig deep into brand creation! I help Maxy map out a brand, map out her title, tagline, description, category pillars and more. By the end of this power session, we have a full personal brand laid out and all Maxy has to do is execute! Which she has totally done by the way.
I hope you enjoy this coaching session. I know that each of us has a calling that we can use to build a kingdom business. But the confusion, how-tos, over thinking, frustration, or imposter syndrome all seem to keep us stuck. All we have to do is partner with God to figure out what it is and then leap. Taking massive action is how our faith is strengthened and his greatness revealed.
I hope you enjoy.

(00:00):
Hey girls. Welcome back to another episode of The Stefanie Gass Show. Today, we are doing live coaching with my girl, my friend, Maxi Jimenez, and we are going through what her brand is clarifying that brand. I help statement tagline, title description, and all of the juicy, juicy goodness that then she later used to pop into her podcast that she now runs LIBRE Y SIN MIEDO PODCAST.
(00:29):
So excited for you guys to hear this episode. And if you have been stuck on what the heck am I supposed to do? How am I supposed to do it? What are the tacticals that go with building a brand like scaling a podcast, like having that sticky tagline, that’s going to convert taking all the big ideas and putting them into one cohesive common denominator that becomes a niche, a niche where you can be a big fish in a small pond, instead of doing all the things for everyone and being a tiny fish in a very, very large pond.
(01:06):
That is exactly what my life coaching. Does it niches down with you and for you on what you were created to do. If you’re interested in one of these sessions, please email us support@stefaniegass.com or you can take my course, Clarify Your Calling and do it on your own girl. Clarify your calling course. All right, let’s dig in.
(02:33):
I need help with my I help statement. So that’s the first thing. And I think that everything else then fields up based on that. So I’m like, ah, I can go on. Okay, let’s start there then. Okay. Tell me what you got so far. And I know, so you are a fitness coach. You’re with beach body. Your target market is this Christian mama and you really want to help her with the mental overcoming excuses and then fitness, right? Yeah, basically.
(03:03):
And then we’re going to talk about this. Talk to me for a second real quick, before we go, I help about your filmmaking. Cause you said, is there a way to integrate this filmmaking? What are you doing with the filmmaking? And what is, what is that? Talk to me about that. Filmmaking has always been my passion. So I liked it since I was a child and I actually came to this country free just to study that.
(03:24):
So I came when I was 18 because I am also, I’m a teen mom. I had my daughter when I was 14 years old. So then when I was 18, I came over here just to study that. And I, I was able to do it long, long after that, like when I was 23, I was able to do it, but now I have forgotten about it, but, but I always want it. I’m like, I always know that I have to write, I have to do.
(03:51):
And I have done some short films with all hopes with like gap messages and things like that, always. But like for non-Christian people, you know, most Christian films are for Christian people. I may even non-Christian people. And so that’s basically how, but I know that I feel that I have that quality in like part of it, of making art for God and filmmaking.
(04:20):
It’s one of the things and I, I like to tell stories to create stars. If you give me an idea, I can make something with that big or that I like. So I wonder if you know, there’s two ways you can do this, right? You can have a whole brand that is around filmmaking because it’s what you want to ultimately do. And so what would you do with that?
(04:47):
Well, you’d have to focus all your attention on making films, putting them on YouTube and getting that would be your content outlet with the goal of becoming a filmmaker. And then about what, like you said, sharing the good news of God’s storytelling and that’s one whole brand that you could do. Right? Well, shift gears over here. This other brand is what you’re doing right now, which is fitness. You love the fitness. You want to help the moms with the fitness and that’s what you want to do.
(05:17):
So you podcasts with the fitness. Can you integrate them maybe because you could do filmmaking for this brand over here, just for fun, right? Integrating you know, let’s talk about a morning routine with God and you make a film, make you do a film over that and you share it on YouTube or something. So I think you could still do the filmmaking, but even, maybe look at that as a hobby to supplement the brand for now. Otherwise you got to go all in with the filmmaking. Okay. What feels better?
(05:58):
The fitness part and integrate that as a, less, as a hobby to kind of support that. Perfect. So what we’ll do with the filmmaking, we won’t bring that into any of the messaging. We’ll just let you add that as a bonus. I made you guys a gift. Here’s the link and you can share it, you know, share the link of whatever cool film you made them in an email, or like that’s something you can add in as like bonuses for them and as a creative outlet for you and then see what God does with that.
(06:26):
We don’t know. Yep. Cool. All right. We got the filmmaking question answered then. So let’s move on to the iHealth. Now, go ahead and give me, what do you have? Do you have anything drafted? What I had is that I help Christian women overcome mental limitations and that’s the, that’s where I get all mixed up. Cause it’s a lot I deal with before I was in this, I deal with depression and anxiety, emotional eating.
(06:59):
That was my thing for a long time ago. For a long time, it was like my whole life. I didn’t know what was that? What was to eat normal? I always had to just cover things with food and even harming myself sometimes, which w so I got, I, I used to weight 95 pounds. I was 95 pounds, overweight, overweight. So I was like 234 pounds. And I thought that all my emotional problems were because I was fat that I was, you know, basically.
(07:32):
So all my problems with my husband then with my career, everything was because I was fat and that’s why I eat, eat and just eat. And then at some point I got sick, so I got insulin resistance and also PCLs and then my doctor say, listen, I told you already that we had to do something. You didn’t do anything. So at this point we have to do surgery.
(07:57):
So they talk about doing bariatric surgery to me and I did it. And although I lost 70 pounds with it, it was the most traumatic thing that I did in my life. It was horrible because I was depressed before I did it. So imagine being depressed with that diet, it was like, I couldn’t eat anything. It was just liquid for three weeks. And I was like dying. I was like, oh my God, I was crying so much.
(08:28):
It was horrible. And I also developed allergy around the incisions and my surgeon said, I don’t know what is that? I don’t, I don’t have anything to deal with. It. It wasn’t horrible. Oh my goodness. And then after I lost all that way, I had more problems with my husband and I was almost getting divorced. So I was like, listen, that was not the problem. There has to be something else. And I felt that it was that I was not with a purpose.
(08:54):
I didn’t have purpose or anything. And I was like, I need to know God. Now I wonder if I want you to show me how to do this, how to create healthy habits, how to deal with my emotions, how to, you know, have a better relationship with food. Don’t associate food with my problems and things like that. And that’s when I started again with Beachbody and then I learned, I did a different, because I tried this long ago before it was depressed.
(09:25):
And then after I left, it was because I was depressed. I was like, I don’t want anything. I don’t want to do nothing. Cause I know anything is going to, it’s not going to help. So I just put like a lot of power in my emotional problems in slow times. I even said to God that I didn’t want to leave anymore. I call him.
(09:46):
I I’m so overwhelmed, but I’m so scared to take my own life. So just don’t make me wake up tomorrow. And I, I remember that they so vivid in my head and then, you know what happened the next day? Right? I was still asking him for forgiveness. I was like, no, I’m sorry. Sorry. CSO, what I love about this story is it’s so much bigger than beach body. It’s so much bigger than fitness.
(10:17):
You know, this story is really about you’ve found restoration. You found restoration through your faith through God. And I think what I’m hearing you tell me is here’s what I’ve written down so far. I help Christian women overcome emotional eating and find freedom through faith and fitness. Oh my God.
(10:51):
That was almost what I had. Okay. I wanted to put that the emotional aiding, the faith and the freedom. I just didn’t know how to put that. So I’ve got, I help Christian women overcome emotional eating and find freedom because that’s what this emotional eating they’re feeling like. It is a captivate, a cap, a captive they’re captive to this thing that they don’t maybe know what it is.
(11:21):
And all the things are wrong in their life. They’re just fat. The marriage is falling apart and it’s like, Hey, what is the deeper thing that’s happening for you? That you’re using food to numb yourself? You know, it’s an addiction, just like anything else. And an addiction is solving deeper, looking to solve deeper wounds, traumas issues, pains.
(11:45):
And so you can through fitness, faith, and maybe also that mindset work because the battle pieces that you have fought, I don’t know if that’s the right word mindset or yes, actually, that was one of my things to the negative mindset, because that was very like, this is not for me.
(12:05):
I’m not going to be able to lose all this weight or all now my marriage is not going to, it will never get done. Or yeah. So my question though, is okay, if you help, Christian women overcome emotional eating and find freedom. That’s the, what are you cool with that being the whole brand like you’re helping her find this freedom from emotional eating, get fit, get healthy in her faith and have this positive, overcome her mindset.
(12:35):
We did it. So we got the iHealth. Oh, you said overcome emotional eating and find freedom. And what was the other part through faith, fitness and mindset, which then are your three pillars. Okay. So those are emotional eating, healthy habits, mindset slash mental battles, her fitness slash your beach, body stuff and faith spiritual growth. Okay. That’s great. Yes.
(13:04):
So this is the stuff you’re going to talk about on the show and then bonuses are going to be, if you feel like it, the filmmaking that helps support this stuff, think of what a beautiful expression, maybe a fun project for you is of doing this depiction of emotional eating, where you were to like finding that freedom through, through God, through Christ, something like, I’m sure you could come up with some amazing creative film.
(13:29):
Okay. So let’s go tagline because that’s easy. So all we’re going to do is shorten this. I help statement. And it becomes basically how about freedom from emotional eating through faith, fitness and mindset. Boom. Yeah. I, so that’s your cleaning on your tagline? On your podcast? Art. Nice. Clean short at the bottom. Okay. Okay. Title? That’s hard.
(14:05):
That’s hard. I was, I was getting with something with free and feed and something like that, but I was like, cause my main audience is Spanish. So I run everything in Spanish, although I know English, but I feel I can speak better in Spanish of course, because it’s my primary language. So something like free, free to be fed or something. But I was like, that’s vague. You know, I need something that links the other thing.
(14:34):
And I think it’s hard if we say something about fitness when she’s struggling with emotional eating. Cause I think she thinks the answer is weight loss. And so it’s, we have to like tow that line carefully until you get her into the show and you’ve helped her navigate route and partnering with God in this process, this isn’t going to be overnight. So I think it’s more this freedom like it’s is there any, is there any words that you feel like God has given you?
(15:06):
Is there any scripture that come to mind? I just want to make sure, like there’s not a word or something he wants you to integrate because I like the free and I even like emotional eating and the title. Well, so the verse that have stuck to me since the beginning of my process has been the Joshua one nine. So I don’t know how to combine that in there, but that’s the one. All right.
(15:34):
Let me, let me read that one. Let’s see. Oh, have I not commanded you to be strong and courageous? Do not be afraid to not be discouraged. Yes. So good. Okay. Have I not commanded you be strong and courageous do not be afraid to not be discouraged for the Lord. Your God will be with you wherever you go, wherever you go, wherever you go. Okay. You know, there’s like three by faith. There is faith to be free.
(16:02):
Okay. Let’s write that one down. Faith to be free. Fearless. That’s really what this verse, you know, it’s like, Hey, you’re gonna, you’re gonna fight this. You’ve got the mental battle. You’ve got the physical battle and you’re the emotional eating the mindset battle. Like she is in it. She’s waging war really. And so I think this call to be fearless would be really good and other tests. Right.
(16:27):
So free and fearless free and fearless. Yes. I like that. Wow. Okay. Let’s go see if these are available. So we’ve got these two that we’re going to look up. So here we go. What is this in Spanish? Because you’d actually be doing it in Spanish and I really doubt it would be taken in Spanish, but we should just check. So yeah. What would it be in Spanish Libra? Ease-in Miato yes. Had I do good and it’s available because I think because it’s in Spanish and there are many, not as many Spanish podcasts or brands.
(17:05):
Right? Yep. Okay. So that looks good. That’s the free and fearless. And then do you like that better than faith to be free? I kind of like say free and fearless, I think is better. Is that the one? Okay. So here we go. We got, we have leave it at a spin and then you’ll have to obviously translate the taglines freedom from emotional eating through faith, fitness and mindset. Can you send me that? Yes.
(17:39):
I’m sending you all of this. Oh, okay. Yep. All right. Okay, good. We’ve got this. Cool. So that’s going to be your podcast name tagline. I guess the thing that’s something that I’m thinking about it after I sold the curse, because honestly for me it was never in my mind that I could do that, but in Spanish I have good speaking. So in Spanish that’s, that’s one of my things I can speak clear.
(18:09):
Very good. And I, and I like it. I like to have connection with people and things like that. You speak amazing English as well. I mean, honestly, it’s seriously. It’s great. Yeah. I mean, anyone would listen to you whether you did English or Spanish. Truly. Yeah. Okay. So we’ve got title tagline. We have the pillars. We have the, I help statement. So do you want to talk about some podcast titles?
(18:38):
What other stuff? Doesn’t feel clear here. Oh, and we need a description as well. Oh, the description. Yeah. No, that will be the thing. Okay. You know how I risk one? I’ll just tell you what I think it could be. And then you’ll have to re-listen and transcribe that part. Cause I can’t like go slow. I can’t type it. Okay. So let’s go through first. Let’s go through first.
(19:05):
Cause this will help me with the description is the keywords. What is your person, your Laura Googling? What is she searching into the Google search bar? Let’s come up with those keywords first. Like overcome emotional, eating on society, purpose in God. God’s calling.
(19:32):
Let me see. I have more here as I did my homework in that part. She’s she’s also looking up, lose weight. Great. That was the first one that I had to hear yet. Those weights. I’ll pull those weight and don’t be obsessed about it. Cause that’s another thing she doesn’t want to be obsessed about it. How to stop binge eating. Yeah. Stop being eating. Oh, that was big for me.
(19:56):
Like there’s a plane. Cause that’s something that she thinks she doesn’t have being consistent, but stay on a diet. She’s probably thinking she needs to die. Right? Exactly. Okay. It’s from home. Cause she’s a mom. She’s busy. She doesn’t want it. Yep. And also shame to work out at a gym when I was overweight.
(20:24):
Okay. That’s a great podcast episode. Right. Are you ashamed to work out in a gym or in front of others? Yeah, I was too. That’s a podcast episode right there. And these, all these keywords, max, these are just search terms that if you can plug them into your, your episode titles of your they’re fully searchable.
(20:48):
So when this woman goes into the podcast app or Google and she types in how to stop obsessing about food and you have that term inside of one of your episode titles, it pops right up. So these are, these are kind of the basis for us to come up with titles right here.
(21:11):
And like I think another, another good one for you would be how I partnered with God to find freedom from emotional eating. Yeah. That’s an episode. You think you need to lose weight, but you actually need to find the root of your pain. That’s B feet, man. Yeah. How about I talk about it? I talk about it a lot, but I was doing it just in my social media and things like that. And you know, how about scriptures for battling sphere?
(21:55):
That can be an episode. Yeah. Was just another thing. So I started to look at myself the way that God looks at me. So I have to calm and, you know, look for the scriptures about his love and how he looked at me, not how the world looks at me, you know, or what they say it was supposed to be or do or look, I have a lot of issues with body image as well.
(22:21):
When I was younger, I was like dealing with an anorexia and things like that. It was like the opposite. So I went through it. So I know what it is a little bit. See, and he, he wastes nothing. So you walk me through all of that pain and being willing to now use that test as a testimony and help these other women who are sitting in that right now that is so much purpose.
(22:47):
And that is God using that for good and saying, Maxi, go, you know, help be my voice here and help. Like let’s work together to free these women let’s touch these women’s lives and show them that they are meaningful and they are enough. And there’s so much more than the number on the scale or their body. And you’re partnering with him in that purpose. That’s big. I know I was, I was suffering a lot and I was Christian.
(23:15):
So I couldn’t talk about depression. And I was like, oh my God, what people is going to say about it? Cause I still dealing with this and my anxiety was, it was not just about eating. It was like I had panic attacks. It was horrible. They drain the song just in five minutes. I was like, Dawn, the fear I was so fearful about everything. I was like, oh, well what they were going to say, I can not do this. I’m not worth it.
(23:43):
Or I’m not prepared was my daily thing. So right there, two more episodes, things, it panic attacks, depression and fear used to consume me how I was set free. Yep. And this one, Hey what’d you see in the mirror, see yourself the way God sees you. I used to hate myself so much. It was horrible. I was my worst enemy.
(24:08):
My worst enemy. See all of that like this. So this is so good. So this is like the root stuff. I think you need to focus on for maybe a whole month on the show before you bring in any like, and when you bring in workouts and fitness and food, just remember where she’s at and remember like, Hey, let’s just move our body today. Like we don’t need to have a regimen or anything crazy and overwhelming, you know, we don’t need, you don’t need to like, it’s like less just start and like ease her into this healing process with you.
(24:42):
Just remember where you were and because the fitness is a part of this, but you don’t want to, like, we don’t want that. You know what I’m saying? You don’t want to be like, okay, you’re going through all this emotional healing. And now we’re going to do a five day a week workout challenge.
(25:02):
Like it’s like, let’s move your body. Let’s start small. 10 minutes a day of walking. And let’s just start treating our body with love, treating our body like a temple. Let’s choose this dark thing. Okay, great. Okay. So let me give you a description. Help me with this description. Okay, here we go. This is a deep one for her.
(25:26):
So do you wake up every day and feel like going straight back to bed? Do you avoid the mirror because you hate what you see in it. Do you use food to cope, to numb the pain of the past or of your everyday is your heart and soul yearning to be set free from the of food, loneliness, isolation, anxiety, or self hatred.
(26:12):
I see you. I was you. I Maxi after going through anorexia and many food issues in my youth to then binge eating and emotional eating as an adult. I know how painful this journey is, but I’m here to tell you there’s healing freedom and true restoration. On the other side, I am here to walk you through this journey. We’re going to partner with God. We’re going to step out in faith for healing.
(26:53):
And we’re going to say yes and amen to breaking free from the enemies lies over your life. Today. We begin finding freedom from emotional eating, how through faith fitness mindset in our work and making a daily choice every day to get up, to get better and to get with God, welcome to free and fearless. I love it. I was like, can I find me? Oh my God, it wasn’t that I felt it. I was like, oh,
