What up Lola welcome girlfriend to episode number 119. This is the second part of the two part series. Last time we talked about 2019 dug into our wins, our losses, our failures, all of the moments that we wanted to revel in for what we’ve accomplished, because hello, that is more important than goal setting. That is more important than coming up with what’s. Next is let’s sit in what the heck we’ve done. If you have awesome, let’s dig into today where we are going to go a little bit further and we’re going to build upon what we did this year to talk about what we can do next year in 2020 to create the most fulfilling life of our dreams. And I’m going to give you a success formula, actually, a success strategy, to be sure that you accomplish the life of your dreams to create more fulfillment, time and space. And it’s going to be amazing. I’m going to take you through how I’ve done this in my own life and business with real life examples, because let’s get real. Your girl is super visual and how you can then do that and apply that same formula in your business. And I’m excited. So let’s dig in.

So let’s talk about 2020. What up Lola? Hey girl, I’m excited for the continuation of our annual breakdown. And now that we’ve done the review homework, we are going to transition into enoughness. Isn’t that so cool. I’m not going to tell you today how to crush your goals for 2020. How to map out some big audacious financial dreams. I am not going to do any of those things, but I am going to help you map out a life of fulfillment. I’m going to help you draft the vision of your life one year from now, so that you’re just in peaceful bliss.

You have enough finances. You’re feeling healthy and feeling happy. You’re spiritually fulfilled. You are working less yet making more. And you’re doing the things that light you up. You have time and space to be doing whatever you want to do. Sister friend, like what do you love? I love to go to Zumba, I love to have coffee by myself in the morning, I love a good massage, I love a fancy five course dinner with my husband. I love cuddling with my babies on the couch and not having to go anywhere, do anything, meet with anyone for an entire day. Like that’s, what’s up. I don’t know about you.

What are your things that you love? Let’s create some time for those things. So how are we going to do that? Let me introduce you to the success. You’re going to need a pen PS, or if you’re driving, don’t do it. Here are the acronym. Here’s the acronym. Okay? Write this down. If you’re not driving. C M H V B M A. Now you won’t forget it. Okay. What does that mean, Stef? Those are your steps that you’re going to take to map this out. Number one is the C, the calling. C equals calling. What the heck are you doing, what are you doing next year, Lola? What are you doing with your life? Honey Bunny booboo. Okay. And I know some of you were like, I don’t know that’s okay, but I want you to start thinking about that. So the calling let’s use, I’m going to be the example here today. I’m going to take you through my CMHVBMA formula that I did so that you can do it for yourself and you can see, how did I answer these questions? And then you can apply that to your own life and business. The calling I help Christian mompreneurs launch businesses based off of their God-given talents, their soul calling, and I help them have profitable, fun, fulfilling businesses they’re running online. Okay? The calling, the calling. So I want you to write a one sentence specific, very niched down, niched down, answer to what is your call? Okay. It’s very clear, right?

I said, who Christian mompreneurs, do what? Launch businesses, how? Using online models of podcasting and monetizing them with courses and coaching. Like it is so specific who I’m helping, how I’m helping them and what I’m teaching them. The next letter in our formula is M, M and that stands for method. So how are you going to teach your person within your calling my method there? And there should only be like no more than three things in here, guys. So what’s your method, pare it down. Pick two, pick your two favorites.

My number one is podcasting. Obviously you guys know that. So how am I doing this for her or the method that I am gifting her, this knowledge, the free stuff, the free stuff. Let’s clarify. How are you solving her problem for free podcast and Instagram for me. And the third one, because I really think you have to have this one is my email list. The email list is where you take all the Instagram leads. And I funnel them into listening to my podcast, or I take my podcast listeners and I funnel them to watching my Instagram stories. Both of which create a higher visibility for me, a closer friendship, closer ties with my Lola.

She resonates with me at a deeper level and take those two things and convert them into an email subscriber, email list subscriber. And that’s where you’re going to get your conversion along with the podcast. Okay. So what’s your method. Pick your method. Don’t do YouTube and lives and Instagram TV, and Instagram stories and podcasting. And, I’m like, whatever else cool new thing is out. Pick two and show up there all the time. Every day consistently. Okay. The next letter is H that’s the How.

How are you going to solve her problem? The calling? Okay. So for me, I’m going to solve, I’m going to teach, I’m going to inspire. I’m going to motivate. I’m going to encourage lift her up, remind her of God’s call for her gift, her the knowledge. Those are all the feelings I want to invoke for her and I’m going to do so by offering her podcasting course coaching opportunities and all my free content that I provide on the podcast and on Instagram. That’s the how. So when you do your how, start with the emotionalities and what you’re going to actually be teaching, and then what is the vessel for you to give that to your avatar? Right?

Is it going to be a course? How are you monetizing? Is it going to be a workbook, a group coaching program, private coaching, premier coaching. What’s your thing. And again, too, I know I get you. We want to do all the things. Pick two, pick two for 2020, because we don’t want big audacious goals right now. We want fulfillment because I don’t want you left with an expectation hangover in November of next year. And you’re crying. Like I didn’t hit my goals Stef. I’m like, yeah. Cause you set an unrealistic goal. I’m like anti set the big goal and fall short. No, let’s set a goal that pushes us and that we have to grow into, but that we can actually achieve so that we can celebrate that win and then set the next goal. Okay. All right.

So that was the H the next letter is V, and that stands for vision, vision. Why do we need to do these things? What will that do for our lives personally? So now we get to say, first, it was about her, your avatar, your Lola, give your person a name, give her a personality, give her strengths and weaknesses and problems and all the things kay. She needs you, you guys know I’m huge on this. Give her a life so that you can speak to her when you are showing up online. So until now it’s been all about her. Let’s turn and look at us. Now, look at yourself.

What’s the vision? Why do we need our businesses to grow, why do we need more passive income? Why do we need more time? And I don’t want you to be like super vague here. So for me, I want to give a larger tithe. We give 10%, but if you scale up your income, your 10% looks real, real good, right? Like you can impact more change and do more kingdom work when you give more to the kingdom. So I want to be able to do that. We have debt, we have debt. We need to get out of that debt. I want to have zero debt, zero debt in the next five years.

So that’s a huge thing for me that I just want to be completely financially free. That way, whatever the heck I choose to do in the future, there’s no big ask. It’s like, we can do that thing. My kids want to go to a specific college. No problem. We want to get them into a fancy summer camp. No problem. Like I want to pick up and head to Italy for a month. No problem. But the only way that those things happen is when we completely get out of debt and stop adding debt to the mix. So that’s in my personal vision.

I’m going to Puerto Vallarta for my 35th birthday. Hey, May 3rd guys, 2020, that trip ain’t going to be cheap and it is happening. You better believe it. So that is in there for next year. We also want to take the kids to Disney world, maybe in 2020, it’s on the docket. And I’ve got another, there’s a couple big things for my husband that I want to get him and build for him out here on our land. Okay. So that’s the vision for next year. I do some house reno, like our carpet y’all Holy carpet. Okay. You know what I’m saying? So write those things down for you and do an actual vision statement. Do the work in the beginning of my journal, because it has you go through all of these things. Goal mapping, the vision, setting the one year vision statement, K. It will have you go through all of those exercises and you need to do that every single year, because you have to feel into why you want to be successful. What are the tangible, tactical things you want? Like this year? One of the number one things on my list was for my husband to get a new Jeep. I’ve had a new car every like two years since we’ve been together and he’s had the same truck it’s falling apart at the seams. And he wanted a new Jeep. And guess what?

Like 30 days ago we got him a new Jeep and it was like the last thing to check off of my vision list from 2019. And it was the best feeling in the entire world, the best feeling. And if I hadn’t had that specific goal on there, that I knew was a stretch, but I also knew that I could do it. It wouldn’t have been such a great gratifying win, so get specific. Okay. So now we’re going to talk about, okay, we’ve got the calling, we’ve got the method, we’ve got the how and the vision, the next one is B, big goals.

Let’s go ahead and say the word goal, because to get to the vision that I just laid out for you guys, all the things I want for next year, all of those things cost money, paying off debt, buying the stuff for my husband, the land that we want to do, the building that he needs, the carpet, the trip to Puerta Vallarta, Disney World with my boys. Like all those things cost money. I also run a business. I have contractors that I pay, one kids in private preschool, and that cost money, like things cost money. And so to have the life that I want one year from now, I came up with the goal, a big goal, okay of $150,000 for 2020. That’s the financial goal. Okay.

So you want to have a specific big goal financially. And again, don’t get Cray Cray. Like if you’re sitting there today and you’re making $0 in your business, personally, I would not have a stretch goal of a hundred K like if you were in a corporate job, you would be getting a raise of 3% a year. Even if you got a promotion that potentially could be a 15% bump in your pay, let’s say you left, you left jobs completely. And you went to another company, maybe a 30% increase at most. Like, let’s start with something realistic. And I know the industry is all about six figures, six figure, you don’t have to go there. Okay.

If today you’re making $10,000 bucks annually because it’s a side hustle for you, or you still have the full time job, bump it by 15% and start there. If you hit that goal early in the year, amazing, you can set another one. Right? When we go into, I need to lose weight, what happens if you set a goal of I’m going to lose, I need to lose 20 pounds immediately in the next month before the wedding or whatever you binge you crash and burn and you gain it all back. And I feel like that’s the same thing that happens with our business when we set these audacious goals.

So it’s better to say, Hey, I want to lose a pound a week. And that’s amazing. In the end of the year, I will have lost 52 pounds. And if you hit that goal in a timely manner, you know, you can elevate the goal. The same thing goes for financial goal setting. And for these big goals be realistic. So the 150K income for me, that’s the main one because the financial goal will feed the vision. Okay. The next thing that you have to do, and if you have other goals, like I hit a lot of my other goals this year, personal goals, but put them here, like be healthier and happier than I’ve ever been before.

Maybe you have a, you know, lose 3% body fat or lose the last 10 pounds of baby weight, or what else? Like, it’s, it’s the big goals that you want for your life, right? Be more spiritually led than ever before. Go to my first live event. All of those things are going to be planned under big goals. Then you’re going to go into the next letter, which is M and this is micro goals. So what do we need to do in order to hit those big things, hit those big numbers.

So I also said, okay, if I have 150K, and I know that this is the amount of income that will feed that vision for my life, what do I need to get there? I came up with 250,000 new downloads on my podcast and 15,000 new people added onto my email list. Why, did I go there? Because if I have 2% conversion on 15,000 new people added to my email list that come from where my podcast is the funnel. K. Everything starts here with the podcast. The podcast brings in the listener who grows and learns and loves me and trusts me, and they have business transformation.

Then that person wants to be part of the list. So of the 250,000 new downloads, 15,000 of those people come onto the list out of the 15,000 people, I’m going to assume a 2% conversion. Okay. And that’s me just sending out a weekly email with the new podcast episode and a simple call to action inside the email sister friend, have you looked at my courses? Did you know, I offer coaching? Okay. I want 60% of my revenue coming from my online courses because it’s realistic. It’s realistic for where I sit today. In the future, and interestingly, this year has become very coaching heavy and I’m really enjoying it. So I’m cool with it.

In the future, I’m going to be scaling back on coaching and raising the price and only working with specific people and coach courses are going to become the highest income driver for me. So for next year, I would like to see a 60% passive coming from courses, 40% income coming from coaching. So this would equal 300 sales. Okay. This is how specific I get you guys, because how are you going to make the 150k, we’re using me as an example, how am I going to make the $150,000? I need 300 sales. How did I come up with that? I need to sell 200 of my course, and I need to spend 10 hours a month doing private coaching. If I do that, I hit $150,000.

That is not including anything else. Sponsorships, affiliate marketing, any cool one-off is fantastic, but this is what I can do myself. And did you hear what I said? 10 hours a month, helping women, 10 hours a month with coaching and the rest of it is passive from my podcast course. Tell me that is not the dream. Right? Tell me that is not life changing for you, it is, it was for me and it is for me. And this is a stretch goal. You guys, this is a big stretch goal for me, but I’m going to do this. I’m going to do this because I can do this because these numbers are realistic for me.

I’m putting it into the world because I need accountability. Just like you need accountability. So if you break down that number, if I help 200 more women launch top ranked podcasts, I have a ton of organic marketing. Cause she’s excited. She’s doing mission work out in the world, sharing her heart and the gifts that God gifted her, which is my greatest fulfillment. Like the biggest, thank you I can ever get is seeing you guys succeed. So it feels incredible for me to sell my course, cause I’m helping you have results. And then the other women that need me to brainstorm with them, to map out the course 10 hours a month, I’m going to be doing that right?

So you need to do this for your life. Don’t just do it in the financial area. Do the micro goals in your fitness, spiritual arena. And in With God She Rises journal, I have this stuff. It’s worth it, worth it, worth it. You will change your life next year, I am telling you. A is the action plan. What the heck are we actually going to do in order to make those micro goals, fuel our big goals and turn our vision into a reality? Okay?

So here’s what I’m going to do. I’m going to have stellar freaking content on this show. Like what you guys want. You will get, you guys want more live coaching, you will get live coaching. You guys want more stump Stef. That’s what you’re getting. You want none of that or you want me to go to all interviews? I will. Like, this is your show, I am here to serve you, I am here to transform you. I am here to inspire you. So, I hope I can be the vessel for transformation in your life next year. That’s what I’m doing, and I know if I do that authentically and consistently, there’s no way I won’t have that 250,000 new downloads on my podcast that I need.

Next PR, public relations, I’ve got to do a lot of podcasts interviews on other people’s shows. I’ve got to probably do some media pitching, I’ve got to get more visibility, right? Because there’s so much organic marketing that you can do. But if I can push and get in front of other people’s audiences that are similar to my own, I will grow. This is also tied with external advertising and potentially doing sponsorships on similar niche podcasts on, Facebook and Instagram. I might, I have a great ad running right now that’s doing amazing. Probably putting some more financial backing into the advertising budget.

I’m going to keep pushing affiliates and guests up. So, what does that mean? If I can find guests that have a similar market and they’re bigger than me, I am guesting up, which means I get in front of more eyeballs. That’s always a smart strategy for any of you looking to grow. And you know, your niche is kind of like a specific micro niche find podcasts that are similar to yours, but bigger than yours and pitch to get on the show, I’m going to do more organic marketing, like giveaways, like promotions, things like that. And I need to figure out a better campaign to convert inside my email list in the funnel.(24:45)
So those are my action plans, focus areas that I will be doing every single month, and this is just for business. I’m going through this same activity for my personal life, for my spiritual life, for my health, my fitness, et cetera, like it’s mapped out to the month because inside that month, I can then reverse engineer that into what I need to be doing every single day. I don’t remember our song, but there you go. And just quickly, it’s the calling. It’s the method. How, your vision, big goals to get you there, micro goals to achieve the big goal. And then finally your action plan, do that in every area of your life. And I am telling you, if you take action consistently and you quit giving up on yourself and you stay true for one full year, you will be living that life. I’ve done it. The vision I have created for myself for the past seven years has come true every single year, except probably my breakdown in 2016. Anyway, glossing, over that one, do this sister friend.

I’m telling you it’s worth the time and energy to put in the work, to have a clear vision of what will create fulfillment for you next year, be realistic, be specific, and then put it into a paper planner and use With God, She Rises to create it and then do the dang thing girlfriend, because if there’s one thing I know for sure, it’s when you take action, the answer follows. When you leap and you dig in and you have specifics behind the goal and the emotion behind it and the vision for it. You’ll want to achieve it much more.

When you ask God to bless that vision that you’ve created for your life and ask him to put the steps in front of you to go and do the work he’s asking you to do. He’ll open the doors. The money will come through over and over again. Like let the miracle surprise you. Stop blocking all of the incredible, incredible abundance that God has for you. By trying to figure out how to do it all by yourself. We are not alone. God is here with us. He wants our best life here on earth. He is cheering for us, fiercely.
