(00:00): Hey, friend! Happy Valentine’s day! Oh my goodness. I hope that you are gonna have a great V-day and I’m just really excited to bring you today’s message, which was totally unexpected. I had a different topic planned for today and in my morning time, last week I sat down.
(00:23): And as I’ve been going through my own surrender process in multiple different areas of my life for the past couple of years, I sat down and I really was doing this work with God, having this conversation with him and this heart check.
(00:42): And Holy spirit began to work through my pen. I ended up with a 1, 2, 3, 4-page declaration slash prayer around this concept ‘What’s mine is His’. And this is dedicated to all of us, myself included that are stuck in this, in this recurring wheel of control, anxiety or fear.
(01:08): So I pray that this will release you today, that you will find some peace in these words, and that God will use this declaration and prayer to speak to your heart and to your spirit. Happy V day!
(01:23): Lord, I surrender my time, my kids, my marriage, my money, my wants, my wishes all to you. Abba, you are Jehovah Shalom, the God of my peace and you love what’s mine more than me, you gave it to me after all.
(01:47): So I hand it back to you. I hand control over and I ask Lord that you would let me be a shepherd, a light, love, a teacher, a leader, a friend, an evangelist, a wife, and a mom that is full of peace and joy, not control and anxiety.
(02:08): Lord, the enemy wants me to believe that I need to cling to what’s mine and fear losing it, but that’s a deception.
(02:16): If you gave it to me and you love it or them more than me, more than I ever could, then I cast my worries and fear onto you, because you said, Lord, you promise that you will carry all of our burdens and you want me to walk free and light, guiding me with your righteous right hand.
(02:38): Letting go of control, freeze my spirit to walk in heavenly places and watch with wonder what you do with what was mine. How you deliver, multiply, provision, heal, restore, sanctify, and protect Lord. Bigger and better than I ever could.
(02:59): God says it is, well, let me carry this, daughter. Let me carry your fear, that illness, child, marriage, that belief. Let me carry that trauma, pain, depression, anxiety, that financial distress. It’s not yours anymore. It’s mine.
(03:21): The freedom is inside the surrender. The peace comes after obedience. Oh, the Lord loves what’s yours more than you do. He loves what’s mine more than I do. He wants to show us what a free life feels like.
(03:39): So father, right now, here, I give it to you. Take it, take it. Take what’s mine. It’s yours. Jehovah Shalom, the God of my peace. Amen.
