Hey friends, today we are digging into three Pinterest superhacks to help you continue to foster your Pinterest growth, because guess what? Pinterest is totally free. It’s amazing organic marketing, and it drives tons of traffic to my own website, to my blog, to my podcast, every single month, completely free. Also, it goes on and grows indefinitely.
So if you are not on Pinterest, my friends, you got to grab my Pinterest masterclass, which takes you through the basic strategies of setting up a Pinterest that’s going to work for you and your brand. This Pinterest masterclass has helped so many people grow and scale their Pinterest. Also, it’s super simple, and so, this is not an advanced course.
It’s an hour and a half, and then I’ll have you on your way to having a stellar Pinterest strategy. Courtney St Croix from Momfidence AF says my audience grew by 80% in just days following the Pinterest masterclass and my impressions grew by over 50%. That is crazy.
If you’ve been looking for a place to just simplify Pinterest for you, show you how to set up the profile so that it’s SEO friendly, what boards you should create, what group boards are, how to join them, how to create really easy, simple pins. This little mini course has everything you need. And also, for a limited time, you guys, it’s only 97 bucks. That price point is crazy. So go to pinterestmasterclass.gr8.com. Now, let’s dig into the three Pinterest superhacks.
Hack number one, this is going to help you massively grow your audience much quicker than you ever thought possible. Alright, superhack number one is to pin consistently, often, and frequently. So what does this mean? This means that you can create a pin inside of your blog post. You can pin to your blog and then share it one time. Well, that’s great.
However, what if you took that same pin and you had it automatically repinned for you five times every week on a recurring basis and you didn’t have to lift a finger. There is a program that I use called Tailwind, which I go into extensively inside my course, my Pinterest Masterclass that talks about how to automatically set up your pinning strategy so that the pins that are doing the best, your heavy hitters are on an automatic, repinning schedule. Okay.
This is super important because when you repin and you have this frequency of repinning more is better. Okay. Some experts literally say you should be pinning 15 to 20 times a day. I definitely don’t do that much, but I do repin pins at least three to five times every week.
Why is this so important? Because when you repin, you are staying front of mind. You are at the top of the board. So when somebody searches for, let’s say how to start a podcast and my how to start a podcast pins are being repinned every week, my pins are going to come up, right? Those pins are going to be new and fresh in the search.
So re-pinning is your hack number one. You guys can use Tailwind to do so automatically you can find my tailwind affiliate link at stefaniegass.com/resources, or just take my course. I go through complete Tailwind strategy. Okay. Alrighty.
Okay, let’s move on to superhack number two, numero dos, which is that you’re not going to pin some pins that look kind of sketchy if you know what I mean. So, if you are not amazing at graphic design, you’ve got to up your game. You’ve got to pin really great quality, professional looking clean, clear images only. Okay. Lola.
So if your pins look like you made them in fifth grade, they’re not going to perform, sorry, not sorry. You need to make sure that your Pinterest pins are really great quality. There’s a couple of things I have found that makes my pin perform a lot better. I’ve been on Pinterest for five years at least. And so when I look at my highest performing pins, here’s what I have found. The pins without people on it weirdly are doing much better.
The pins that have a huge title and just a little background, but the title is really huge and vibrant are doing the best. Pins that are really bright. I know that having muted colors and peaches and tans is really in right now, but it’s not performing. Bright colors, hot pink, red, vibrant blue, royal blue, teal. So think about “in your face.”
When you get to Pinterest and you search for something, what are the pins you’re clicking on? Okay. Especially those of us that aren’t doing something in food blogging, but you’re doing something in business blogging. Those title pins, bright, vibrant in your face, clear are going to do the best.
Next, having the right size did the best for me. I had some infographics that were really long. I’ve had some Facebook sized graphics. Nope. They’ve got to be that portrait style, Pinterest-sized graphic. Just use Canva for this. Canva has so many templates that are really great, and so just use the template. You don’t need to be super creative and fancy here.
Use a big vibrant colored title board that has a light background. Okay. And here’s the other thing. You’re not going to have the perfect pin. So just do it, be done with it, and then over six months, look at your analytics. See which pins are performing the best for you. And then double down on that pin. Do more of the pins that are working, pay attention to which colors are performing for you, how you titled something. Okay.
My final Pinterest superhack for you guys is to use really keyword-driven titles, descriptions, and graphics. What do I mean by this? Here’s the deal, Instagram and Facebook, they are driven by an algorithm, and so it’s what is hot right now. Therefore, we have like a 24 hour timeframe where stuff actually shows up where it can be seen.
Pinterest is really the opposite. It’s like the residual marketing of the social media world. Even though it’s not “social media,” it’s like this virtual search engine. Imagine if you went to Google and every time you typed something in the same result comes up because that result is getting the most clicks that result people are happy with. That result is keyword driven, right?
Pinterest works the same way. So you can’t just throw a pin up there, willy nilly and walk away. You’ve got to have a strategy behind every single Pinterest pin. And that starts with titles that are extremely keyword driven and clear. Okay. For example, if I have a pin about my Facebook group episode, and it just said, Facebook groups one-on-one, that is boring. That is not exciting. That is not SEO and keyword driven.
However, if I title that episode, “Ready to explode your Facebook group? Drive engagement and organic growth with these strategies.” Think about all the SEO in that title, friends. I’ve got Facebook group, I’ve got drive engagement, I’ve got organic growth. I have all of these super juicy titles in here that are searchable.
So my Pinterest graphic actually says that title, and then I wrote that title inside the Pinterest graphic. Then there’s also a description that’s even more SEO driven underneath the graphic. All of that links back to my website blog, which is stefaniegass.com/blog/explodeyourFacebookgroup or something like that. Okay.
That brings people to the blog, which has my podcast embedded in it, number 180. They can listen, they can read it. It’s got the transcription, call to actions to collect their email addresses. It’s got all the things there for people that are looking to explode their Facebook group. Simple, easy peasy, lemon squeezy guys.
This strategy is like the unstrategy because it’s truly so simple. And so many of you are missing out on thousands and thousands of people coming to your websites and your blogs and your podcasts every single month, because you just don’t understand Pinterest.
What if you just took an hour and a half and took my Pinterest Masterclass and I will give you the strategy. It is simple, not an advanced class. It is like, hey friends, we’re doing step A, B, C, D E. So at the end of this class, you have a nice, simple, easy Pinterest strategy that is employed. That you’re ready to go, you’re taking less than an hour a week doing and it’s driving thousands and thousands of people every single month.
You guys, I have anywhere between 50,000 to 300,000 Pinterest viewers, and at any given month, my website is getting usually between 15,000 and 20,000 views from Pinterest. Pinterest drives 94% or 95% of my website traffic. That’s completely unbelievable to me because I spend the least amount of time on Pinterest. Crazy.
So if you are not on Pinterest, please, girl, go to pinterestmasterclass.gr8.com. It’s only 97 bucks. I promise you that is the best $97 you will ever spend on your organic marketing strategy. It’s a tax write off, do the things. It’s time. I will meet you inside the Pinterest Masterclass.
I just wanted to leave you guys with a quick prayer today. I pray over you and your business that you are fueled and excited and full of energy and motivation and inspiration that the right clients are led to you. The right people are there to collaborate with, and that God is whispering to you the right moves in your business today and every day. I pray for your continued belief and faith in God’s plan over your business, life, families, and selves and mindsets and all the things okay. In his glorious name. Amen. I’ll see you next time. Love and light, Stef.
