What is up, sister? I’m super excited to bring you today’s bonus episode. I think you’re going to really, really love it. What we’re talking about is three things that you absolutely must have non-negotiables. When it comes to clarity over your calling, like, what are you actually created to do? What is your purpose here on planet earth and the secret, and why I’m creating this episode for you is because clarity brings breakthrough.
You’re never going to sell the courses or have the big success story in the podcast or your blog or YouTube, or make a big sustainable long-term profit if you don’t have absolute clarity, I’m talking 90% clarity. Okay? Cause I know that clarity is an evolution, but there is no reason for you to be stuck and sitting in overwhelm, in frustration, in wondering and wallowing around and wishy-washiness, girl. Today it ends.
We are going through three things you must have for absolute clarity. I know you’re gone. Okay. All right, let’s move to today’s training. Number one, the first thing you must have in order to get clarity, because clarity brings the what breakthrough. Clarity equals breakthrough three steps, ready? Step one, you must have a common denominator. What does this mean, Stef?
This means that out of all the things out of who you are, what you’ve walked through, um, who, who you have been in relationship with, or have mentorships in your life, the trials that you’ve been through, the triumphs, the victories, the spiritual giftings, like all the little pieces of who you are and what your life has been to date. All of those things put together sometimes feels overwhelming.
It sometimes feels too big. It sometimes feels like you can just slap a label and say, well, I’m just multi-passionate. No, the answer is you have not found the common denominator of all the things, because at the root, the root of who you are, there is one cohesive niche, one focus, one purpose, which all of those things when put together really support.
Let me give you an example. Let’s say that you are super passionate about fitness. You’ve been in marathons before. You love just training other people. You have a spiritual gift for teaching and mentorship, a degree in health, but you also love motherhood and being with your kids and creating intentional time and you plan really effectively, and you have a basic understanding of food and nutritional information.
You also love faith and you love your husband and you love to travel. And you also love, I don’t know, really great, dinners with your, with your honey. You like all these things. You’re like, I can’t figure this out. What is my calling? Well, the first thing that I do with my students in CYC is we go through the basic, basically the common denominator roadmapping to find that one thing.
As I look at this example, it’s pretty obvious to me that the calling work is something to do with the fitness realm, because she loves to work out health and wellness, all those things, but then you have to niche down deeper into that. And there are so many clues that you can find based on your other passions. When I hear her say, I love motherhood. I love planning. I love all of these things.
I would say, great, well, you can be a fitness coach for busy stay-at-home mamas. Boom. You can sprinkle in nutrition. Sprinkle in intentionality with your kids and your spouse. You can sprinkle in all of it, so like, do you see how that works? Find the common denominator, which is really two-fold. It’s the what? It’s the fitness, health and wellness brand, but it’s also the who. There are clues in this common denominator of a niche and you can begin to see who it could be for just based on yourself, based on your own clues of who you are.
For her, I would say, let’s start with a niche, a demographic of doing health, health, and fitness, or just even just fitness or specifically running. Cause she loves running and marathons for busy stay at home moms. Then you can sprinkle in some other pillars, some supporting content around nutrition, prioritization, motherhood, etc.
So the common denominator here for step one, in my example, for her would be fit goodness for stay-at-home moms or learning to love, running for, stay at home moms. That’s the whole common denominator, period. That’s the niche. Number one, you must have a common denominator in a niche. Number two, you have to to know. So number one, the beauty of number one is it finally allows you to answer the question. What do you do? Isn’t that crazy? What do you do? Well, I am a fitness coach or a running coach for stay-at-home moms.
I mean, how simple and clear and incredible is that answer. Like it leaves no confusion. It’s absolute clarity. So then the next one, number two is audience clarity. Who are you doing it for? Okay. And this is number two, right? How do you know who that is? Person is? Cause that’s really what fine tunes number one. So if we go, okay, looking at her passion work, we’re going to dig even deeper. We’re going to find out what are all the pain points and struggles that her stay at home mom is struggling with.
She can head into Facebook groups, do market research, figure that out, go back and look at herself two or three years ago. Maybe she’s writing down all of these pain points. Okay. She doesn’t have time to work out. She’s too stressed out. She doesn’t have a lot of support from the spouse. She doesn’t know where to start. Her kids are young. So they’re not really on a set schedule. She can’t seem to stick with anything she’s starting and stopping.
She doesn’t know which fitness plan is right for her. She’s on the latest diet instead of looking at long-term sustainable health, she feels self-conscious with her spouse because she’s had kids and she’s gained a few and she’s not loving her body where it’s at. She’s really struggling with finding confidence. All of these problems or pain points that this woman is experiencing is giving us loads and loads of content, loads of content.
I just thought I’m like, is that British? Or am I Australian right now? Loads of content for your, what? Your blog or your podcast or YouTube, your long form content. So when you get audience clarity, number two, it gives you so many ideas of the stuff that you can create for your common denominator to solve all her problems.
How do you make money with clarity work with your breakthrough, with your purpose? You solve all her problems. Boom, there it is. And then later we create solutions that cost their implementation solutions to help them get a result. So number two, we get audience clarity. All of those pain points and triggers are our keywords, our SEO, it’s our content.
It’s our titles for our podcast episodes. It’s everything; even content for creating courses in the future. Having audience clarity is such a foundational pivotal thing of getting your breakthrough, getting to your breakthrough. So that also helps me niche down even further. Great. Well, now I know this mom is probably married, has young children, maybe 25 to 38 years old. She is probably a fully stay at home, not necessarily making money with a side hustle of any kind, cause she’s feeling like a lot of guilt around taking time out, etc.
You’re building out a visual picture in your mind of your avatar based on number two. Amazing. So now what number two allows you to do is answer the question for who. So number one, what do you do? I am a fitness or running coach for stay at home moms. Oh, well great. Well, we already said, who do we do it for, for busy stay at home moms, right? That’s the four that’s the who.
You can even begin to answer the questions of, of how solving some of the solutions, which let me get, get even deeper there into number three. Number three, the final clarity equals breakthrough thing that you must have, you must have is a brand/ solution plan. You must have a brand/ solution plan. So it’s fine. Like you get started with an idea, okay, I’m going to be a fitness coach for stay home moms. Cool.
Let’s say I’m going to be a fitness and running coach that I think that’s what we’ll say, fitness and running coach to give her a little flexibility for stay at home moms, beautiful common denominator based on her passions, her spiritual gifts, who she is at the core who God created her to be who it’s for the same demographic that she loves the same demographic that she spends all her time in it’s for that stay at home mom.
Okay. Now number three is the brand and messaging plan. So when I say brand, what that means to me is you have to have a title, tagline content, and a plan, a messaging, a solution plan to solve all your girls’ problems using long form content, which is exactly what I do. Right? Guys, I help people get clarity. Then they start a podcast which grows their audience. And then we monetize it with courses and coaching. It’s a three tier plan.
I just had a student this morning that I have been working with for about a year, messaged me that she sold 102 courses this morning of her $500 product that equals over $50,000 in less than a week. This Is because she, number one, got clarity. Number two, she started long form content. And number three, she created a passive course to support it.
This is my entire business model, but if you guys don’t have the brand clarity, it’s not going to work. You’ve got to have that. So title, tagline content, I call them content pillars, which I’ll talk about in a second and then you have to have solutions. Okay? So, number one, title. Well, let’s dig into this. This could be, um, the fit stay at home.
Mom. It could be, mommy gets fit. It could be, stay at home. Mom gets healthy. It could be the health and wellness podcast for stay-at-home moms. I mean you guys, and this is me going super SEO, basic, like what would be highly searchable? You could also do something more fancy, like, the healthy, purposeful mom, which isn’t as clear, but then you can add a tagline. So the tagline is super short and crispy.
Something like fitness, running motherhood and faith for stay-at-home moms, right? So it’s like the, what is it? You need a tagline and then you need, you need your content pillars. What is this girl actually going to teach on and talk about in all of her solutions? Well, number one, she’s talking about fitness and running. Number two, she’s probably talking about health overall or nutrition. Number three.
She wanted to talk about motherhood and maybe some boundaries, maybe some of that mindset work around motherhood. And then number four, let’s say she’s talking about faith. She’s got four specific things that she is going to teach on inside of her common denominator. Oh my goodness. She has a brand boom.
Now what she has to do, which this could technically be its own step. Step four is have a solution plan. A solution plan means you are creating long-form content like podcasting to solve this person’s problem for free. When you do those three things. Well, technically it’s four things, common denominator/ niche. Number two, audience clarity and number three, a blank, a brand partnered with a solution long form content solution outlet.
You’re going to have your breakthrough, not overnight long, we’re talking sustainable for ever, long-term explosive growth in something that started with clarity and your purpose and your calling that you then took on a journey you showed up, let’s say you podcast or whatever for six months to a year.
And at the same time, you’re monetizing. Now you guys aren’t there yet because if you’re listening to this episode, you’re working on clarity. But it all starts here. If you don’t have clarity, what do you do? Who do you do it for? And how do you do it? It’s not going to work. That is really, truly, truly, truly my honest opinion. I’ve seen it happen over and over again where they start, but because it’s it’s foggy or it’s fuzzy or you’re unclear, you’re unsure. It’s kind of a mess and you end up rebranding or you end up being all over the place.
Or your audience is not coming or you’re not converting because that clarity, when you know what you do, when you know who you serve you, 100% of the time can transform someone else’s life. And they know you’re for them. They know what you do, how you do it. If you’re for them, you speak directly to them. The number one compliment I get in my DMs is like, Stef, it’s like, you’re in my brain.
How do you know? How do you know me so well? I’m like, well, I was you girl, but secondly, I’ve done my clarity homework. So those are your three steps.
